Ella Mesma’s Wild Card, performed at Sadler’s Wells’ Lilian Baylis Theatre, was an intriguing combination of declarative stage performance and quirky audience engagement. Arrangements to create a short mobile phone video piece with LondonDance.com fell through, so I’m posting a selection of what would have gone into that piece here.

Please forgive the rough state of the video and images. I had a broken rib (the pain stopped me writing about it) and was told not to carry my DSLRs until it had healed so I used my mobile phone instead.
