Ella Mesma’s Wild Card, performed at Sadler’s Wells’ Lilian Baylis Theatre, was an intriguing combination of declarative stage performance and quirky audience engagement. Arrangements to create a short mobile phone video piece with LondonDance.com fell through,  so I’m posting a selection of what would have gone into that piece here.

Please forgive the rough state of the video and images. I had a broken rib (the pain stopped me writing about it) and was told not to carry my DSLRs until it had healed so I used my mobile phone instead.

Ella Mesma and Scanner's Inc

Just in!

Scanner's Inc is working with the talented London based dancer Ella Mesma.  Our Grants for the Arts funding application submitted last year has been successful. This is wonderful news.

Ella will be working with choreographer Anthony Egea, Artistic Director of Compagnie Revolution, France. The new solo will be ready for touring from april 2013.
