Your honour…I drew Lesbians again | Divine Deception Girlies
I FINALLY FOUND A LESBIAN ROMANTASY I LIKE
Contract Bound by Elle Mae
Ax & Nyx from Don't Stop Me by Eden Emory
Favorite mythical creature(s) aaaaand go!
Vampires will always have a special place in my heart. Ever since the Twilight craze of my middle school days and having to sneak read it because my mom was against vampires because they were Satanic or whatever (that's what I remember, anyway). If only I hadn't brought it to church. 😂
@rainbowcrate recently did a special edition of Contract Bound by Elle Mae (I believe it was a RAD exclusive), but their magnet for this month showcases Silvia and Keir from this lesbian vampire romance.
So in oaks first talk I felt like was a direct contradiction to president nealsons byu devotional. In the devotional nealson said that “same sex marriages are legal and lawful and we honor the laws of the land” it was as oak said it “one line in an obscure talk” and “that is not where doctrine is found. During his talk I felt like he was saying pres. nealson was wrong. Obviously this is condensed but yeah that is how I felt.
Do you remember the press conference to announce the new First Presidency? Questions were asked and President Nelson would answer, then President Oaks would speak up to clarify and correct President Nelson.
The very first question in the press conference was, “President, how do you plan to address LGBT issues?” President Nelson’s first words were, “God loves His children and He wants them to have joy.”
When President Nelson finished his answer, Elder Oaks spoke up, “Surely, President, your statement on the love of God for all of his children…because of God’s love for His children, He has given us commandments.”
Before being called as an apostle, Elder Oaks was a justice on the Utah Supreme Court, I suppose it’s natural that he focuses on ‘the law.’ He seems very fixated on the law, as he understands it, as it applies to LGBTQ+ people.
For you to think Elder Oaks was trying to “fix” what President Nelson said in the devotional would be consistent with how he spoke at the very first press conference.
I like the way my friend Elle Mae responded to Elder Oaks’ thought about focusing too much on loving our neighbor and how it could keep us from loving the Lord:
Silvia x Keir - Contract Bound
Had to draw the pairing from my favourite romance novel 🩵
