I love Nessun Dorma too. I thought it was fantastic in the finale of the first season of Daredevil.

I didn’t watch Daredevil but I take your word for it: Nessun Dorma is a wonderful music to create an atmosphere.

I might be wrong, but I believe classical music is more often used in movies and such than what we think; that’s why we often know famous arias without knowing their title or their composer. Glad you like it!

 SimplyLucia is my username on AO3, but it was already taken on tumblr, apparently. asimplylucia was the first name on tumblr’s list of suggestions to replace it. Sometimes people assume I’m Italian and not French because of my name...

3. What’s your middle name? Laurence, after my father, Laurent. I hate this name.

4. If you could be a fictional/fairy tale being, what would it be? I really don’t know. Probably the character no one notices. I’m quiet, so people often forget my name or don’t notice me in real life!

5. Favourite colour?
 Dark red.

6. Favorite song? If I had to choose just one, it would be Heart-Shaped Box, by Nirvana.

8. Why do you enjoy tumblr? I found lovely people on tumblr. Some posts are hilarious, others are informative, but I really like the art and fanart I find here. Besides, when you write fanfiction but can’t post on a regular basis, tumblr is a good way to stay in touch with readers.

OMGoodness the lily pads are wonderful.

I’m not even a big fan of gardens and flowers but you know what? I was gaping when I visited the waterlily house of Kew Gardens. And everybody around me was gaping too...
