Re: the interaction data, I wonder if splitting up the posts into three bearing mostly the same art might not be partially to blame. Many people might perhaps only like or reblog one of the three rather than all of them since they're so similar.

Pentos
Pentos had me second guessing myself quite a bit. I wanted to connect it visually with Lys and feel like something a rich merchant city would invent while being distinct from the other places in Essos.
A wild goose chase later and I eventually settled on Minoan inspiration crossed with Eastern North African fashions. The clothing is light and flowing (my memories of Dany's first chapters), hairstyles are oiled and forked. There's some pearls and gold but not worn to the level or extravagance of other city-states/countries. The strands of pearls in the hair was pretty key to my desired direction.

Poll Time: Imposter Syndrome
So..... the Essos series is not achieving liftoff. There are a whole bunch of reasons that could be the why and I'm trying not to worry about them but I am easily disheartened. (If you know why or if there's a better tag I should be using let me know?)
There are other art things that I've been making in the meantime and hopefully they go over better? Anyway, no need to trap everyone here for weeks if you guys aren't excited about it.
Should I:
Keep the schedule as it is
Speed up Essos, 1 a week is too slow, 2 would be better
Leave the internet in disgrace

Braavos
While fashion illustrating for Braavos I was really intrigued by the sort of Venice/post-Renaissance obsession with death/mourning and extravagance. This is a city with power, with money, Myrish lace and fabrics so dark they are almost black.
I wanted lots of concealing layers and the slashing needed to be dramatic. If it wasn't giving Three Musketeers it was the wrong vibe. Gems, pearls, lace, feathers, nothing but the whole nine would be acceptable. It's sort of an odd but working chimera between Tudor, 17th century and late Renaissance?
