ok so stay with me; i’ve been thinking about this dragon age modern au all day because i cannot control my shitposting heart. the setting is university and magic still exists. it’s bascally just if thedas was in the modern world.

anders, mage warden amell, morrigan, and merrill are all in the same department

morrigan isn’t a joiner, but anders has earned the reputation of being the campus’ “sjw” for mages by organising protests against chantry speakers that are invited to come on campus by the chantry youth organisation. both morrigan and anders are grad students, and morrigan is becoming more and more bitter by the day and uses phrases like ‘academic elitism.’

wynne and irving are the exhausted department heads.

merrill and amell’s cousin, hawke (also in the same department), are bffs, and merrill is the school vegan and is into renewable energy and takes part in zero-waste cooking/baking challenges.

leliana and zevran are comms majors, and leliana is purusing a minor in poli-sci, while zevran has a concentration is pr. zevran and amell have been together since freshman year.

alistair is there on a football scholarship but is taking civil engineering. never takes the lead in group projects, and is taking a couple gen ed classes with amell. they’re besties.

cullen hangs out with the rest of the chantry youth organisation and has his own “skeptic/anti-sjw” blog/channel, but he’s been in love with amell since high school. 

this is not an exhaustive list and i am so sorry that i’ve exposed you all to my garbage thoughts
