if there's one thing I've learned from the hellish ordeal these last two months have been, it's to never ever let anyone tell you a medical procedure is easy and routine just because it was easy and routine for them, because while they might have been up and moving again in 3 days, you might be struggling to control you pain for 2 weeks following your procedure which might lead to a horrendous anxiety flair up which may lead to lowered immunity which may lead to post surgical infection which may lead to heavy antibiotics which may lead to multiple weeks of antibiotic induced acid reflux which may lead to you losing your motherfucking mind, so, you know, grain of goddamn salt there. Grain of salt.

#I just keep reminding myself I'm in the home stretch now #I'm rebuilding now #rebuild the gut health #rebuild the core strength #rebuild the energy levels by resting #rebuild the anxiety threshhold by taking my medication and doing things I enjoy #but it is SO FUCKING HARD SKSJJDDJJSJSJSEJJS #dude I had this surgery the first week of OCTOBER and the reprocussions are still haunting me #cursed year #cursed organ #will SURELY delete later

The unit two floors above us flooded their laundry room and also ours, so now we have sewer water under the floorboards and in the walls of our kitchen. Everything the water touches needs to be removed and replaced, and since we have laminate flooring throughout our condo (which can’t be removed in sections) we’re going to have redo our floors entirely… and I’m still not sure how we’re going to manage that when we also work from home 🥴

Fingers crossed we can get this sorted out soon, first step is to get in contact with our homeowners insurance and see what they’re willing to cover 🤞🏻
