So, Ellis has long since decided that she never needs to ask a man for help with anything, but when a student she tutors accidentally enlarges a spider who then claims Ellis’ wand hostage, and then said student flees, well — exceptions must be made. Ethan just happens to be the first person who has the pleasure of passing by her office in the wake of this debacle. “Mr. King, can I... borrow you for a second?” She tries not to sound out of breath, but she is, because there is a spider in her office the size her desk. It wasn't like Ellis didn't knock before barging into Juno's trailer, but he didn't exactly wait to be invited in before he went in. Their hair was up in clips to try and maintain the curly, swoopy structure the hair stylists had worked on for an hour that morning and a silky bomber jacket hung off his broad shoulders as he held his phone screen up for the blonde.
