Funeral Possession by African-American artist, Ellis Wilson. 1950s. For the majority of the series, right up until the final episode, this painting hung on the wall of the Huxtables’ living room in The Cosby Show. Does anyone remember that? My eye was always drawn towards it. Something about it always felt familiar, comforting.
