Out of all available mdzs media, I think The Untamed did the best in showing how much Lan Wangji really wanted to see Wei Wuxian again. That bit of hope when he sees resentful energy from Bichen and the juniors exclaiming that the Yiling Patriarch is still alive. That moment when he jumps at the slightest indication that Mo Xuanyu might actually be Wei Wuxian.
I loved this scene so much. This line in the first episode sold me on the show. That hopeful yearning look down the empty street.
I wished this was in the donghua so I drew the donghua version of LWJ.
