The Bedtime Paradox
Currently living in a 90-degree room but cocooned in a heavy duvet because if one (1) toe is exposed to the air, the sleep demons win. 🕯️🔥 It’s a literal internal battle between "I am melting into the mattress" and "I need the weight of a thousand suns to feel secure." Why are we like this? Why is the blanket a sacred shield that overrides all biological thermal regulation? Just Elmo in the pits of despair, but make it cozy.
