✖ : Describe a way to make them uneasy or apprehensive.
Oh, boy... IMO, due to the question she gets asked about her fertility after her accident in one of the clips from S2, here’s a headcanon:
In her accident, Juliana suffered a major wound to the abdomen area and has a scar there. Due to her trauma, it make’s her very uneasy for someone to put their hands anywhere near there unless she trusts them.
۞: Are there any inner demons they can never seem to get rid of? What are they?
No matter how much she tries, for Katherine, it’s her uncle’s death and the absolute terror it brought to her life. Even if the S.S. are nothing but kind to her for the rest of her life, she’s always going to have to suppress a slight feeling of panic whenever she sees them. It’s a lot better now than it used to be but she’s never going to get over it.
In her other verses, nothing particularly. As a war correspondent, she saw things that will always haunt her, but even in WWII Poland, nothing happened to her that haunts her as much as she is in her main verse. I’m still trying to figure out if she has PTSD or not from it, TBH...

He’s surrounded by noises, snippets that he can understand, a lot that he can’t. He thinks that it’s English, but he’s never heard native speakers. It’s so much faster than what his father knows, or any of the partisans. But confusion changes to fear quickly. He needs to know how he got here, where the rest of them are, who’s still alive. Did they even complete the mission? “Milost?” What is the word? He’s learned this. “Where...” English doesn’t change endings like česky does. “am I? Was there bombing?”
@eloiseclarke , because CHRISTMAS!
Leaning over the fire outside the hospital, Juliana rubbed her hands together as she stood there in only her doctor’s uniform, ignoring the cold of the Ardennes that surrounded her. It was Christmas time, the grand event itself happening the day after tomorrow, but things seemed pretty bleak. The Germans had begun a new push on the sixteenth and it was working. Nevertheless, Juliana hoped to bring some Christmas spirit to the troops trying to heal under her care.
At the sound of a woman singing a carol at the top of her lungs, Juliana laughed, knowing exactly who it was. It was Eloise Clarke, one of the newer nurses and her partner in crime for creating Christmas cheer. Striding toward the sound, she shouted jokingly, “Clarke, what on earth are you caterwauling?” She was being entirely silly as both Clarke and herself were more than decent singers, but to be terribly honest, she couldn’t tell what the woman was singing at the moment.

“Pray, how are you going to do that? What proof can we provide that this is for the best? More pamphlets? Apologies, I am sounding like a loyalist aren’t I?”
“I am not in the business of writing pamphlets, madam. I simply fight for what I believe to be true.” He tilted his head with a smile. “Are you one then?”
