Lockwood and Co AU’s Ideas

In a world that is now ruled by monsters, many humans are still on the loose, and as such, monsters have decided to do with mankind as mankind once did to them; hunt them down. Mosdon is one of the many cities with hiding-human-infestations, and thus have many human-hunting agencies been founded. Lockwood and Co is one of this agencies, the smallest one if fact, with only three monsters as its operatives. Yet this small agency has managed to shake the entire city to its very core and beyond.

‘For millennia, humankind has hunted monsters, giving them death for their distinctive appearance, using them for children tales, leaving them with no choice but to hide from them and the light of the sun. Any monster encountered by human eyes was to receive retribution. No exceptions. But, after years of suffering and hiding, all around the globe monsters decided 'No more'. They resurfaced from their hiding places and rampaged the cities, destroyed the towns and villages. They took over the earth and its creatures, made it their own and learned to live among themselves. They learned the usage and dominated human technology, they advanced it, perfected it, adapted it to themselves and their needs. It was a new universe. The world, however, wasn't free of humans yet. Multitudinous amounts of them survived the attacks and found ways of hiding. But the monsters knew this, and just like they once weren't allowed safe hiding, they wouldn't allow humans the mercy of hiding and disappearing from memory. No. Humanity would pay for their crimes; they would know what monsters knew, the pain of unfair death, the fear of unjust persecution, the stress of knowing you weren't safe anywhere. Humanity would know what it was like to be a monster. So, Human Hunters were born. Agents, teams, entire companies dedicated to hunting the infelicitous humans, and to give them retaliation.’

Otherwise acknowledged as BandAu! where Lockwood and Co. are a rock/pop band named Lock ‘n Hoes. The name was originally “Lockwood and Co.” but due to losing a bet to Quill Kipps, they had to change the name, but have learned to love it.
