"OUR COMMON DIFFERENCES"
by eL Seed
Paris-born 'calligraffiti' artist eL Seed is one of the pioneers of blending the art of Arabic calligraphy with modern graffiti. Born to Tunisian parents eL Seed spent his formative years juggling cultures and languages and his distinctive work today reflects the collision of those influences. His work aims to use not only words, but also the motion of his compositions to create compelling messages bringing people, cultures, and generations together. For this 2015 wall in Coney Island, New York, for the Coney Art Walls Project, the Arabic script offers an important message for today: "The only thing people have in common is the fact that they are different." @elseed @elseedindoha @coneyislandartwalls
