Classic: anything my datemate loves doing! you should see the way their eyes light up when they’re really enjoying themselves, and their laughter…i could listen to it all day! i’m partial to hugs and cuddles, but if you’re not very touchy feely, just bein’ alone together is enough.

Bara: pretty much the same for me! i’d also like to pick them up, but bein’ imaginary and all, that’s not really possible.

Hiya guys, I hope this question isn't too annoying, but what made you guys start up this blog in the first place? (Sorry if this has already been answered, fantastic job btw) 😊😊😊😊💕

It all started in November of ‘15…

…so, last November. I was daydreaming, as I tend to do, and the current topic was “What if I were dating Sans?” It was a topic I tried to approach with less romantic passion and more humor. I don’t know how Disney World came up (other than it’s one of my favorite places), but I concluded that if I went there with Sans, I might as well be going by myself.

And I posted about it on my first Undertale blog.

As the night wore on, the thought only became more complex, until I had a full story on my hands, complete with an ending! It was so fun, so sweet, so CUTE! (And let me tell you; my stuff’s been called cute when I was actually going for something else. When I recognize my idea as cute, it is probably going to be adorable.)

So I thought, why not make it into a reader insert? (Spoilers if you haven’t read this story, but would like to.)

Throughout the next day, I wrote down what had presented itself to me the night before, and soon I had a full outline. Sans would take a while to join the reader character at the Magic Kingdom, and then Papyrus, shocked by his brother’s inattentiveness to his datemate, would join them at the park himself. And one part called for him to buy a stuffed Winnie the Pooh and have Reader pretend it’s Sans.

The funny thing is, there was no mention of an “imaginary Sans” in the outline. He just sort of showed up while I was writing chapter 5. And his first ever spoken line was, “Please don’t leave me. I love you.”

He resonated well with the readers, some of them proclaiming they couldn’t choose between him and Real Sans. So, seeing that he was a popular character in the most successful story I’ve ever written, I got to thinking that maybe he should have his own blog.

But it was not until Christmas Eve that I decided he’d get one.

I had participated in one of the Undertale Secret Santa events, but I never got a present. So to make up for it, I wrote this as a sort of present to myself.

And then I got this message. That anon had recognized Imaginary Sans from the story, which, though it made sense considering the story’s success, I thought SO COOL.

Then another anon came in, someone who also read the story, and that was even cooler! Two people who had read that fic had found me on Tumblr, too? “Maybe I SHOULD give him his own blog,” I typed.

Well, it turned out that first anon was Mod CH. We started collaborating, and the rest is history.
