         -------- ASIDE FROM THE fabulous cassandra clare, i helplessly look up to jane austen as well. i’ve loved austen and her work since i was fifteen because i’ve always loved classic literature ever since i was introduced to william shakespeare. i suppose it’s the satire and romanticism she places in her characters and describing them and their environment. it’s something i try to do with my own writing -- aside from the satire, of course.
