A small blond child with the biggest blue eyes is gonna grab his hand and bite down on it. She's got a death grip on him with her tiny fingers. (Tatsuya & Ambrosia. Why not an introduction to one of mah ladies through a troublesome tiny relative)

why...  did  she  bite  down  on  his  hand?  he  didn't  even  notice  her  at  first  but  now...  it  was  quite  painful.  made  him  wonder,  if  his  kids  would  end  up  being  such  a  menace  as  well.  he  sincerely  hoped  not,  because  he  couldn't  have  such  misbehavior  be  displayed  in  front  of  the  king  who  would  probably  call  on  him  quite  a  few  times  every  year...

"hello...  can  i  help  you?"  his  eyebrow  twitched  a  few  times,  unsure  if  he  could  keep  being  nice  if  this  creature  was  trying  to  split  his  hand  in  two.  "i  would  appreciate  it  if  you  let  go.  i  could  perhaps  show  you  a  few  tricks  with  my  sword."

He's wearing his cutest face today, hellbent on causing trouble for a certain moody, broody man. Unrelenting in his pursuit, persistent always in his affections no matter how inconvenient, already nosing into long hair yet to be brushed and done up for the day. A hushed chirrup escaped him, approving and sweet, as he breathed in Morrigan's shower-fresh scent. It was a shame he was already dressed.

"Mmm, yer up I see," he hummed, arms easing around Morrigan's waist, lips idly brushing against his nape. "Already ran m' deliveries fer th' day, 'head o' schedule. Frees me up t' bother ye alllllll day - an' night, too."

But he pulled away, showing some measure of restraint, teetering on his heels with a mix of excitement and anticipation. He'd been waiting for hours for Morrigan to wake up, coming to check on him when it'd been too long for comfort. Alas, even only a few minutes was too long for him. He never could be patient, never liked when his beloved was out of sight - he couldn't protect him if he didn't have eyes on him. Possessive of Loux, perhaps; He didn't care.

"You know Ms. Body Guard, if I didn't know any better, I would say that you seem rather exasperated with me already." The artist was quick to cross his arms over his chest, lips turning down into a mix of a frown and a pout, seemingly offended at Ming's tone. "Is that any way to act with some who is offering to employ you?" He knew that was low, knew it was probably the wrong thing to say, but he couldn't help himself. She was making it seem as if he was a bother and he hated it. He wanted nothing more than for them to cross paths more, to become closer, to build back up their bond again, even though he knew it was selfish of him and maybe even a stretch. He should stay away. He should welcome her resistance. But he hated her for it, how easy it was for her to keep her guard up, to not feel how connected they were-

He clicked his tongue, hand coming up to play with the ends of his hair in a mildly agitated manner before he abruptly stopped and glanced in her direction. Maybe it was too soon, maybe it was a sign that he should stop hoping, stop meddling. He wanted to rely on her, thought maybe forced proximity would hurt, but he had clearly jumped the gun. And he was only going to suffer for it.

He had reached out because his eye sight was becoming hazy, he was losing it momentarily again, he knew what the doctors would say, they admonish him for straining himself again, for pushing himself for his art, but he thought, maybe it could be different this time. Maybe he wouldn't have to handle it alone-

"Don't worry about it Ms. Hunter, I don't want help anymore. Sorry to take up your time. You know where the door is."

“What’re yo- AGH!!!” The sound of a man screaming could be heard comingfrom the seemingly empty restaurant’s kitchen at the back. The sword of the scream was one of the cooks being impaled through the hand atop the cutting board by a tall young man. “Thought this was one of your run o’ the mill restaurants until a secret source leaked a very naughty secret ingredient with your rice dishes..and I’m not talkin’ chicken, fish, beef or pork.” That’s right, these sick bastards served the customers human meat, the yokai were skillful and crafty enough as cooks to disguise both texture and flavor.

“I noticed there are homeless people goin missin’. How I noticed? Well because I fed ‘em and they tell me things, one of ‘em saw somethin’ he wasn’t supposed too and now ya got me breathin’ down your nec-” Before Yusuke was able to finish his sentence his ears caught the sound of a shutter and a click. Swift reflexes allowed him to turn his gaze to see a young woman snapping a photo of all things. “HEY!! Don’t ya got somethin’ better t’ do than play paparazzi?! Hand me that camera.”

She wasn't a stranger in the tattoo parlor, often coming to visit her mother with her service dog in tow. But she admittedly had another reason for coming... a specific tattoo artist that was hired in the shop that Aubrey felt her heart stirring over. His smile was everything to her... and those tattoos? He was a walking, talking work of art that made Aubrey's fingers itch to sketch. And admittedly she had.

Not that she'd ever tell him or anybody else that.

"Hey Mom, is Maren free?" She asked, making the elder smile as she gestured on back for Aubrey to go. Beaming, she trotted on back, making her way to Maren's station with the same brilliant smile on her face. "Hey!" she greets warmly, waving her hand as she stops at the entrance to his space.

Tartaglia raised his hands defensively, an easy smile on his lips. “But… I’ll admit, I was wrong this time.” See? He could admit to that. Just because he was a Harbinger didn’t mean he wasn’t a decent person. Well… A decent person with the blood of hundreds on his hands… “Guess that means I owe you a meal, huh?”

MYST!!!!!! Okay so like... imagine you're a brother duo making games because you realized you can create entire worlds when your initial thought was to make interactive books.... and you get make a video game with FMV and 3D rendered images for a CD-Rom and become THE highest selling PC game ever for Y E A R S!!! like....

Myst is the story of a fractured family. You find a book in the middle of nowhere with a spinning image of an island, and then find yourself on the island. There's a letter for a Catherine from her husband, and puzzles everywhere. You figure out the code and retrieve the message, only to hear that a library has been destroyed and that he suspects it's one of his two sons.

you reach the library and all but five books are burned beyond recognition in the bookshelf, and there are two books on each side, one red and one blue. The blue one has a message from a man named Achenar, who's been trapped in the book and needs blue pages to be rescued. The red book contains a man named Sirrus who has similar pleas. and so you learn your way through the puzzles to other books that lead you to other strange worlds, and you learn through environmental storytelling about the brothers, the men who are trapped in the books.

As you go through, you find red or blue pages in their rooms in each world, or Age. Which brother will you choose? Are either brothers able to be trusted? After all, perhaps they were both put in there for a reason.

But where is Catherine? Or her husband Atrus? Why is the island deserted?

It's very heavy on reading and puzzles, and looking through the journals is quite helpful as they give you insight into a few puzzles in each puzzle. It was the most important game I had ever played it meant so much to me when I was a teenager. It was around 97, so four years after it had debuted but I own each game, and the series means so much to me.

I could lore dump but I feel like I've said enough I cannot tell you how much I love the whole story of Myst and the mythos and everything that goes into it.
