When I returned home after spending a few days with my sister (we quarantined beforehand to make my visit as safe as possible), my cat ignored me in favor of sniffing my luggage. My reward for picking her up was her snagging a claw in one of my favorite T-shirts and making a hole (picture 3). So I fixed it by embroidering a flower in thread that was the closest match I had on hand to the design (picture 2). I like how it turned out in the end.
