Emeraldl Cockroach (Pseudoglomeris magnifica)!
Have you seen the emerald cockroach (Pseudoglomeris magnifica)?
I have now
Yes, in photos/videos
Yes, irl
I'm not sure
I GOT STICK BUGS!!!!!
Here's one hanging out on my little sister's hand :)
They're Achrioptera fallax, so the males will be bright blue after they molt a few times!
We also got some emerald roaches and dairy cow isopods (the isopods are still really small but they'll grow a little bit more)
Here's their enclosure so far, but I'm planning on getting some fish tank decorations to make it look nicer. I'm also gonna try get them a slightly better enclosure once they get bigger.
omg yall
this is an emerald roach, they’re not super common in the pet trade but they’re so fucking cute!! the mothers let their nymphs crawl up under them and in between their legs to protect them and apparently females will even let babies that are not theirs do it. i’ve never seen a roach that exhibits mothering instinct!!
It sippy time, lads
Emerald Roaches (Corydidarum magnifica) by Frupus
These stunners arrived today and I just…the purity! The goodness! They sipped of the jelly and wiffled at the leaves! I love.
