I experienced my first ever college emergency lockdown today! It was scary as crud! People and emails say that two officers were "plain-clothed" and had guns! Investigation is still on the rise but... wow.

Has anyone experienced something like that?

Emergency lockdown started today (although I haven't leave the house since last week). News of death every day. Jakarta is still bracing for 100.000 patients in the next few days. Stadiums and halls are going to be converted into emergency hospitals. Yogyakarta has buried 100 bodies within 20 hours. Families are even recommended to wear masks in the house to avoid infecting each other. More than 80% infections are delta variant that are airborne.

That thin, underlying layer of stress- coupled with bad food choices and plenty of spare time, has prompted me to make some good ol’ gut healers and probiotics. Was my first time making Kefir and Sauerkraut. So far the Kefir is delicious (also super easy to make once you have grains) and the fermented cabbage will take another 2-3 weeks. Will continue making Kefir every 2 days and start on sourdough bread and kombuca or Kvass.

Gardening post COVID-19

This spring, people who have never considered gardening, should get started on it asap! If you don’t have access to land, consider using containers. 

When this COVID-19 nonsense blows over, our food prices (among other things) are likely to sky rocket. Of course, you won’t be able to grow everything you need especially if you’re just starting out, but it will save you from the price gouging of fresh produce and ensure your step towards self-sustainability.

This spring, people who are already gardeners that supplement their food supply, should consider expanding their gardens. Get rid of lawns if you have to! If there was anything to learn about this global event, it’s that materialist designs mean absolutely nothing when you don’t have health and food security.

She had wanted new experiences and well The Institute had certainly provided many, but she was starting to really wander if they were fully worth it, after all being in the middle of some attack wasn't really in her list of what to expect. She hoped her house didn't get damaged, and also she was annoyed that she couldn't contact any of her friends that weren't in the theatre. The Headmaster should really give that lady what she wanted.

Wondering about she found a window that though boarded up had a hole and she peaked out of it, she couldn't see much but there in the distance -thankfully- she could see the outline of the dragon she had seen while coming here "that is a massive dragon"
