hello! i was curious as to what your skz member emeto headcanons are??

Oh my god, this woke up something in me mrhsbshden thank you for this!!!!

As I started writing, new ideas just kept coming - so this is a little all over the place 😂 I’m posting it now but I’m definitely going to have to come back and edit/add more 🤭 some of this is so random too- but I just feel it fits!

SKZ emeto/sick hcs:

Bang Chan:

- Definietly tries to go through it alone.

- His tummy is sOOO loud, gurgles and squeaks all over the place.

- Obviously, spicy food fucks him up. It’s even worse coming back up.

- “Oh, I’m- HRRRUGGHH- I’m fine 😊”

- Sometimes a quiet puker and sometimes a loud puker, it really depends.

- He groans, sighs and whimpers a lot when he’s really nauseated.

- Good at pretending he isn’t sick (confirmed by the members)

- However, if he’s got a really crampy stomach, his facial expressions may give him away..

- He also sweats a lot when he’s nauseous.

- Often gets reflux into his nose and it only makes him feel more sick. Plus, It burrnsss.

- Doesn’t want the others to worry, but he greatly appreciates their concern and accepts their coddling gratefully. He thinks they’re sweet.

Lee Know:

- Sucks at warning someone before he pukes…

- Gets cranky and quiet when he’s unwell and nauseous.

- Stares off a lot, but he already does that in general- so it’s hard to tell the difference.

- Has indeed worked himself to the point of puking from exertion before.

- This dude can walk, albeit pale, totally nonchalantly to the side of the road and ‘casually’ throw up like crazy before returning back to pretend like nothing happened. + might just hit them with a thumbs up to show he’s okay while the others look on, absolutely mortified by his indifference.

Changbin:

- Where tf his gag reflex at?

- Doesn’t throw up easily, which is both a blessing and a curse. Sometimes the nausea has him drenched in sweat and writhing in pain, but his body just won’t let it happen :(

- Might sit on the bathroom floor for the longest of times, blanket around him shoulders as he breathes shakily through the nausea.

- Definitely doesn’t mind having some company once in a while, it’s nice to have a lap to rest his head on.

- pretty pouty and sulky when he’s in pain.

- Has been so nauseous and desperate before that one of the members had to ‘help him out’ by pushing on his stomach or gagging him to help him get relief.

- Surprisingly not as loud a puker as you would’ve assumed. Generally louder at all times except for when he’s not puking.

- When he finally pukes it’s more the “Hhrup—“ followed by powerful waves of vomit gushing out of him, not giving him a break until he’s finished, left coughing and panting.

Hyunjin:

- You can, as with a lot of other things, usually tell how he’s feeling by his facial expressions long before he says anything.

- “I’m literally dying over here and you’re going to get boba? Just tell me you hate me and leave me to suffer”

- Sensitive gag reflex. 10x worse when he’s actually sick.

- Sensitive stomach too. Tends to disagree with new foods.

- Gets really emotional when he’s sick, lips wobbling and eyes glistening with tears.

- Loud puker, deep, heart-wrenching heaves that makes anyone cringe in sympathy.

- Dry heaves a lot even though he’s all empty, usually struggling to calm his body down. Someone rubbing his back and muttering some sweet words usually helps.

- Prefers having a bucket or something while being comfortable in bed or on the couch, rather than throwing up in the toilet and sitting on the floor.

- Soaked in sweat, literally lays in a pool of it. It’s like he’s melting away.

- Gets motion sick and tends to forget his medication (so the others usually makes sure he gets them).

Han:

- Hates being alone when he’s sick. Can’t stand it.

- Clutches onto whatever he can for dear life, the toilet rim, another person, his clothes, anything.

- Struggles to catch his breath in between gags, which only makes him dizzy and even sicker.

- Seeks out any comfort he can get, leaning against someone, loves when they rub his back, brush his hair back, etc.

- Whiny </3 Complains a lot about feeling sick until the nausea actually reaches the ‘I’m gonna puke’ phase. Then, he goes quiet- a telltale sign of what’s about to go down..

- Covers his mouth with a shaky hand while the other clutches his stomach, staggering on his feet as he hurries to the bathroom.

- Throws up a lot, often many times in a row when he’s sick. May as well just camp out in the bathroom until it passes.

- Gets really bad stomach pain and cramps.

- Also loooud gurgly belly

- Curls up into a ball of pity, all pouty and pale to the point of actually looking green.

- Holds his stomach a lot, hugging onto himself and rubbing his sour belly 24/7. Not opposed to letting someone else give him a tummy rub either.

- Give him cuddles, please. Any kind +++

- Often finds himself wanting sweets to comfort himself, but it comes right back up again and then he sulks about it.

- Also tends to get an upset stomach from stress and anxiety, but it’s only made him throw up a couple of times.

Felix:

- Is one of the members who actually seeks out one of the others and tell them if he’s feeling sick rather than stay quiet

- Really quiet and weak after throwing up, sluggishly clinging onto whoever he can reach

- Generally pretty clingy when he feels sick, he needs so have someone close to cuddle up against for comfort

- Often ties his hair back if he’s nauseous, prepared for what’s to come

- Also tends to get very emotional, sentimental even, especially if he has a fever. The smallest of things tip him over and it’s heartbreaking

- Crying makes him nauseous again though, so it’s a vicious cycle

- Coughs and splutters more than he heaves and gag, it that makes sense? Tends to choke too

- Low rumbly burps and belches

- Nauseous hiccups <3

- Super shaky, his legs are literally jelly. Might need a piggyback ride to his room or smth

- Passes out fairly easily from dehydration and fevers, much to his (and the others’) dismay…

- gets sympathy sick, especially if he’s already a little queasy. So it’s a mess when many of them are sick at once :’)

Seungmin:

- He’s so stubborn..

- He’s barely holding it together but if someone asks ‘are you okay?’, he’ll be all ‘yeah, are YOU okay?’ Unless he’s already too nauseous to bother. Then he’ll just wave off any concern.

- He gets very ‘spacey’ and fidgety when he’s nauseous. Stares off into the distance, hands fiddling with the edge of his shirt or whatever it may be to try and ground himself.

- Sighs a lot when he’s nauseous, stifling a lot of silent chesty burps.

- When he first pukes, he has a very ‘let’s get it over with’ mindset, not really having space for any dramatics.

- Isn’t that loud when he pukes, but tends to choke and coughs quite a bit.

- Similarly to LK, he too is often bad at giving someone a warning before he gets sick. It can go from 0 to 100 reeeal quick.

- “*siiiiiigh* so….. I think I might be sick..” after having thrown up consistently for half an hour.

- He has a puppyM hot water bottle to his rescue and curls up with it on the couch or in his bed.

- Not sure why but he usually has an emotional support pillow when he’s sick. Just a normal pillow usually. Always hugs it to his chest, sleeps with it, brings it with him to the bathroom for comfort, etc. it’s just something he tends to do, a habit of sorts.

- I feel like he has a tendency to get migraines that makes him nauseous as well..

Jeongin (I.N) :

- His body gets very tense when he’s nauseous.

- Also very quiet and withdrawn, tends to just ‘disappear’ and hide away if he can.

- But I totally imagine him to be a pretty loud puker. Loud heaving, groaning, coughing and hacking.

- Despite his maknae status he definitely doesn’t admit to feeling sick until he practically has to.

- Doesn’t want to be touched and needs some space at first. If he seeks out physical comfort on his own, he really isn’t feeling well..

- Does appreciate gestures like offering a cold towel, bringing him a glass of water, etc.

- A lot of nauseous burps, but he finds it embarrassing and tries to stifle them.

- Falls asleep a lot, anywhere and anytime.

- Often gets very dizzy and weak after puking so he does need someone to lean on.

- He was very very sick with the flu or something once (high fevers and vomiting) and threw up in his sleep- which almost had him choking/aspirating hadn’t his members been around. Chan and Han (his then roommate) were absolutely traumatised after that and Chan would not let Jeongin sleep ‘unattended’ at all for a long time afterwards..

+++ I love the idea of both Chan and Felix starting to speak English when they’re really sick, especially when a fever is making them woozy or delirious. Or just finding comfort in someone speaking English to them <3

Character Nausea-triggers Headcanon List

This headcanon list was suggested by @obsessed-mosquito; "I wanna know your head cannons for the genshin boys’ (+lumine) nausea triggers outside of straight up being sick (When I say triggers, I’m thinking like specific smells of sights or thoughts, and whether they’re super sensitive or if it’s just an annoyance)"

This really got my brain gears turning, so let's dive in!

Gorou

I'm kicking things off with Gorou because he's one of the few characters who's confirmed to be very squeamish in my AU!

Gorou isn't squeamish in general; blood, gore, and commonly-seen-as-disgusting topics, don't faze him. But he's very squeamish around actual vomit. He's a complete sympathy puker.

Hearing or seeing somebody throw up, makes him nauseous. Seeing or smelling the vomit itself, makes him nauseous. Talking too much about vomit, makes him nauseous.

When it comes to actual vomit, he's sensitive enough that he's very likely to throw up himself.

It makes writing him such a joy, I love him 😭

Kazuha

Kazuha generally has a strong stomach , but spoiled food is something that gives him the ick.

Opening a carton of milk to find it's gone sour, picking up an apple that has a squishy spot, opening the fridge to find something is smelling rotten, that'll nauseate him a little. It's not severe enough to make him actually throw up, unless he's already sick!

Okay I need to yap less or these will take forever-

Tighnari

Strong stomach, again, this man isn't phased by many sights. Emphasis on sights.

Even in the modern au, Tighnari has an exceptional sense of smell. Really strong scents are extra harsh on him, and can make him queasy. Think being in a crowd of people and constantly smelling a mixture of strong perfume and sweat. Think the smell of rotting flesh. Think the various smells of harsh chemicals. They're all bound to make him a little nauseous.

It's not typically enough to make him actually throw up, but if he can't get a breath of fresh air and remains trapped breathing in some really strong unpleasant smells, there's definitely been instances where it's eventually made him vomit.

I'm not yapping less, am I

Cyno

Iron stomach. Smells, sights, nothing phases this man, no matter the level of disgusting.

The one (and potentially only) thing that does trigger nausea in an otherwise healthy Cyno, would be the smell or taste of a food that had recently made him sick/he'd recently thrown up. Say like, in the past month somewhere, he was sick and he threw up something he ate, like pasta for example. For at least a couple months my guy's not touching pasta and the smell of pasta will make him queasy. Not enough to physically throw up again, but enough to steal his appetite.

Heizou

For him it's not sights or smells, it's tastes. Heizou has a very strong stomach for the most part and seeing or smelling something won't faze him. What will faze him, is biting into a burger or a piece of chicken and finding it's either over or under cooked. Even if it's still completely safe to eat, the taste of especially undercooked food, will make him nauseous.

And if it tastes really bad, there's a good chance his body will just immediately reject it.

Aether

I love to think of Aether as this guy with a "nothing phases me" attitude and reputation, but then he'll gag as he's cleaning his cat's litter box.

Like the silliest, most random things will make him nauseous. Gory movie or seeing another person vomit? No big deal. Having to clean his own freakishly long hair out of the shower drain? Gotta avert his gaze or he's going to gag.

Albedo

Pretty much nothing. If he's not actually sick or already feeling nauseous due to a different reason, nothing's going to trigger this man's nausea. He's probably the one person on the planet who's got a stronger stomach than Cyno.

Lumine

Definitely a stronger stomach than her brother, but she has her triggers. Very specifically, rotting flesh. The smell of rotting flesh is one of the only things that can make Lumine nauseous enough to want to throw up. Especially rotting fish, but any rotting flesh will do it.

Just death in general isn't a problem! It's specifically the smell of something rotting that'll make her queasy.

Lyney

Squeamish boy! Especially when it comes to bad gore, or somebody else vomiting. It's not typically enough to make him throw up himself, but it can certainly make him kind of dry heave, and his eyes will immediately start to water (rest in peace to this poor man's make up)

I can absolutely see him on the rare occasion that Lumine's sick, sitting on the floor with her and holding her hair back, but he's got his own face just buried in the crook of his elbow because he refuses to get nauseous when he's fine and she's the one who's sick.

Hello!! Do you happen to have any sick headcanons for ZB1? Only the members you’re more familiar with if that’s easier do you <3

So guess what... you're actually in luck because I recently started stanning ZB1 so I'm now familiar with all of them haha! Here is some of the stuff I have in my notes, and I tried to add caretaker hcs for each as well-

(Sorry to anyone who is waiting for the other requests I took, I just figured I'd answer ZB1-related-stuff first just because they're at the forefront of my mind currently. On that note, please don't hesitate to submit any ZB1 fic requests as well!)

Hanbin

-Gets the short end of the stick with pretty much every sickness there is -Sometimes has uncharacteristic emotional breakdowns when sick -I just know he has a collection of comfort objects -Probably gets stomach aches from stress -Has a wide variety of facial expressions and vocalizations whether he's the sickie or caretaker -Cute and fluffy as a caretaker, does everything he can to ensure members' health (including checking on them obsessively)

Jiwoong

-Gets awkward and just spaces out when sick -Would never allow himself to cry from pain but might tear up -Feels a sense of duty towards the members, almost like a dad -Snaps immediately into caring mode whenever he sees someone not feeling well, but respects their boundaries -Like I can see him just patting someone's back quietly while they cry

Zhang Hao -Chronic complainer- being sick annoys him more than anything -Low pain tolerance and tears up from anything -When something hurts his face will look like he's crying out in pain but he doesn't make a sound or makes a choked noise at best (very specific but I do see him make this kind of expression a lot) -Looks pathetic and tiny when throwing up -The members like to touch his tummy a lot because it's soft (as Gyuvin once said) -Which is a good thing because I can see him getting stomach aches often (attracting caretakers) -Preaches the importance of health to other people when they're sick -Insistent and blunt as a caretaker

Matthew

-Doesn't get sick too often, but when he does his whole routine gets thrown off (also with injuries) -It's weird when he's super sick because the room gets a lot quieter even if he truly does want to talk -Actively tries to calm down and do positive self-talk when panicking or nauseous (probably knows some breathing exercises) -Very open with issues, doesn't try to hide it -Can see him curling up in Jiwoong's arms whenever he gets a stomach ache -Can sometimes drop the most fire health advice -As a caretaker, he wants nothing more than for the sickie to feel better so he'd say cheesy cute things -(not necessarily a sick hc but) Tries to be a mediator whenever members disagree

Taerae

-To be honest, I don't have the tightest grasp on his personality :') -But I know he would be very cute when sick and his normally logical personality would go down -He'd just go into hiding until he feels better -Would just offer physical touch as a caretaker

Ricky

-Worries a lot about his image while sick (hates being vulnerable) -Probably won't see him sick often because he keeps to himself -Doesn't like to ask for help, brushes any concerned comments off -Would try to sleep it off -Gets an angry face when he doesn't feel well -Tends to overanalyze situations -(this is just me projecting but) I hc him as a hypochondriac and slight emetophobe (mainly out of fear of contagion) -Probably the most perceptive member- good listener and always knows what someone needs -Would not hesitate to take care of someone out of chivalry

Gyuvin

-If the sickness isn't too severe, he won't really notice or let it interfere with anything (usually the case) -Gets upset if sickness ruins group plans (there's evidence for this: when he missed a showcase he typed a page-long apology after it) -Throwing up always drains him of energy -Self-critical, feels guilty for wasting others' time -Loves to baby his members -Probably the most physically affectionate member (randomly hugs and touches) -Rubs his members' tummies (also evidence for this)

Gunwook

-He's said himself that he cries a lot -Hates to be alone when sick -Makes a cute pouty face to attract caretakers -Would absolutely love to have his tummy rubbed -Would pretend to be surprised if someone took good care of him but deep down he's not -As a caretaker, he'd be more likely to keep the sickie company than actually help them

Yujin

-Shy, doesn't want to be touched -When he gets sick it usually comes on super fast (no one will notice until he finally loses it) -I feel like he would get dizzy easily -Doesn't like throwing up because of other people's reactions (doesn't want to be seen as vulnerable) -Panics often for no reason, which makes him go dead quiet -Would secretly enjoy being the caretaker because it makes him feel mature I feel like with ZB1, theres a clear division in members who fit the sickie role vs the caretaker role just because they all have such prominent personalities. I'd say the sickies are Hao, Taerae, Gunwook, and Yujin, while the caretakers are Hanbin, Jiwoong, Matthew, Ricky, and Gyuvin. Let me know what you guys think about this! <3

Emetophile K.aeya Headcanons

warning: these are suggestive! contains emeto and descriptions of vomit, mentions of alcohol. n.sfw hcs will be under the cut!

K.aeya had been into puke pretty much since the first time he's gotten himself drunk. He loves feeling nauseous, be it for being too full, or too drunk, the danger of throwing up out of nowhere is exciting.

Kaeya doesn't usually drink to the point of vomiting, he has enough self-control and, well, a reputation to uphold as the cavalry captain. Whenever he goes to the tavern, be it on a date, or an outing with friends or coworkers, there is always a part of him that is secretly hopeful he will end up drinking himself to the point of feeling sick and someone who happens to have the same kink will love to take care of him.

Insisting he drinks water, and accidentally giving him too much of it, sugesting he eats even though both of them know he won't be able to keep it down. Urging him to empty his stomach because he will feel so much better afterwards, then helping him get it all up, either with fingers or belly stimulation, thoroughly enjoying the mess he is making.

Kaeya likes, and often needs, to have his hair held for him when he pukes. It is long enough to get in way of almost anything, but he almost never has it properly tied, or a hair tie on him, for that matter.

Despite all that, Kaeya dislikes hangovers as much as the next guy. Headaches only get in the way of him feeling horny while nauseous, and the food doesn't exactly have the same effect when he can't even taste it properly. The worst part of it is that he is yet to find someone to stay with him past a one-night stand. Kaeya has also, more than once thrown up in his sleep, and he hasn't enjoyed that at all.

What Kaeya loves the most is the sounds someone's very full stomach makes when they are right about to puke. That sound of liquid rushing up someone's throat, the watery puke almost tearing through. He also loves the panting and groaning they would make between bouts, the short but almost euphoric moan of relief they let out when the stomach lightens. The sound of heavy breathing echoing inside the toilet bowl. Kaeya isn't sure which is the best: the built-up or the release, but he surely does love seeing someone trying to deny the inevitable.

For him the best texture is watery but lumpy. The mixture of alcohol with barely digested bar food, heavy and greasy, all mixed into small bites littered through a puddle of puke. That might be the most common thing he has had to spew. He tries not to let it show too much, but whenever he finds one of those, he is excited to guess what did this person eat to produce the splatter, thinking about the food coming up and how it might've looked before.

Messy sloppy blowjobs! He loves getting to fuck someone's throat until they puke all over him. He might get too carried away, and end up being a little rough (consensually!). Holding his partner's head down as he pumps his load down their throat.

Tummy ache

usually doesn't mind stomachaches but has a hard time enduring nausea

totally can and will complain about his tummy ache while torturing someone and building it into his manipulation

lots of discreet belly holding with one hand

he will get extremely pale and sweaty when he's feeling unwell

those are almost the only visible signs that he's sick

will push work until he's sent home after he has thrown up all over the floor, his uniform and is burning up with a fever

'I'm okay' says the man who's visibly swallowing back sick in his mouth

my man thinks he's so subtle but he heaves hard and loud

it starts with soft hiccups and then he better run for a bucket or the toilet because it happens really fast

unless he's at work he'll move to the bathroom as soon as he feels nauseous so he's quite clean

but at work he'll try to hold it in until the last moment which has its consequences...

will projectile vomit everywhere if he's not in front of the toilet or a bowl

will push on his stomach to get over it sooner

likes to be left alone unless it's Yor

he tends to become whiny if his sister takes care of him

also will call up Yor even for a few minutes if he isn't feeling good for comfort

tries to drink the herbal drinks Yor made for him when they were little but he usually ends up puking it right back into the mug

has a 'sick hairband' which he uses if he feels pukey and needs to hold his hair back

prefers the toilet but he isn't picky

he usually holds onto his belly for comfort

he doesn't like nausea but isn't really fazed by the actual vomiting

my man has such a low alcohol tolerance, every time he gets drunk it's almost guaranteed he's going to puke

(his collages learned this in the hard way)

Stomach flu

(yes I'm making this a separate thing bc I can and also stomach flu my beloved)

he likes to work until exhaustion (you little dumb work alcoholic) so it's no wonder he tends to catch a bug or two going around

he hates being nauseous, he hates how it's curling in the pit of his stomach and never letting him feel better, not after being sick

he'd so much rather just get everything up and be over with it

if he's alone he'll just curl up in his bed or in front of his toilet, holding his belly and waiting for the inevitable

if it doesn't happen soon, he'll just include

have I said before that he gets sweaty? - yeah he get's really sweaty

sometimes he'll confuse the nausea sweat with fever sweat which can be bad if he just goes back to bed with an already high temperature

fever + nausea combo really just takes him out

he would be lying in his bed and actively dying

with the paleness and sweat, he can get kinda scary tho,,

also, he'll try to work when he feels a little better, even if it's paperwork from his couch so he takes double the time to get better

I still think this boy has a stomach of steel, however he does sometimes overdo it when having meals if the boys are in a rush.

def think jinnie gets v v pouty with tummy aches but still wont try to make it a big deal. if it's too bad, though, he'll probably try to get one of the members' attention for a little comfort 🥺

I feel like some tells if his tum is giving him some trouble is he'll become quieter than usual and his stomach can sometimes make some noises that give him away

yoongi-

this is kind of a community-agreed-upon headcanon lol, but I also think Yoongi will not open his mouth if he's feeling unwell - especially if it's just something like a stomach ache. def very independent about it. might take a pill to settle his stomach, make himself some tea that sort of thing.

we all know Yoongi has a squishy tum, and I feel like it would probably get a little bloated if it was bothering him 🥺🥺

ooh, I also think Yoongi is lactose intolerant (though this is pretty much canon at this point).

hoseok-

biggest. baby. ever. dont even @ me. this boy will want and need all the love, though he wont openly show it :((( very pouty and constantly has a hand on his stomach.

I feel like a lot of things would give Hobi a bit of a tummy ache, and I also think his stomach is a little bit sensitive. probably not uncommon to see him curled up at the corner of the couch with an arm around his tummy and frowning because he feels all bad 🥺 it doesn't take long for a member to either offer some rubs if they're busy or drag Hoseok to bed (sleep usually helps).

probably drinks a lot of tea to combat it and relies on some natural remedies (I just see Hoseok believing those kinds of at home remedies that sometimes dont make sense lol)

namjoon-

gets stress stomach aches ALL the time. almost all of the members (yoongi and Hobi especially) have probably walked in on joon miserable in his studio because he needs to finish his work, damnit, but his stomach is killing him.

otherwise joon doesnt really get plagued by stomach aches all too often, and doesnt do much to help it lol. this man is pretty calculated and will stick to his schedule no matter what, until the members catch on that he's not feeling good.

kinda headcanon joon to be a burper? so that's probably his biggest tell and the members catch on pretty fast because of it. usually has a hand at his tummy as well.

Seokjin

Has a sixth sense for when his members are sick

Knows all of the caretaking hacks, pressure points, teas and their purposes, signs of bigger issues, DIYs, sleeping positions

Also knows the members’ individual preferences as far as all of the above go—what type of tea they prefer, how they like to be cuddled, medicines that they’ll take easier than others or that help better

As qualified as a man could get through the internet and trustworthy WebMD and MayoClinic

Always keeps the house stocked with everything; three thermometers—ear, mouth, rectal—and a backup or two or five, knowing how easily things get lost or broken, on brand and off brand of the same medications and a few other brands too, multiple flavors of cough syrup and all the types of OTC painkillers, bandaids in every cabinet as well as all the disinfectant liquids and creams one could need in a lifetime

Has his own sneaky ways of getting members to take medicine

He knows the others better than he knows himself

Has a particular caretaking style with each of the members that suits them best, but generally speaking, it’s a lot of baby talk (for the maknae line), soft speech, constant reassurances, and a consistent presence to cuddle

Knows the other members’ limits with food and such, as well as all of their allergies/intolerances/small things that don’t agree with them

Isn’t fazed by vomit anymore, at all

Keeps a trashcan in everyone’s room

Keeps a medicine stash with him at all times; the essentials—painkillers, antacids, motion sickness pills, sinus relief, and bandaids (though they aren’t a medicine lol)

Also has a decent amount of medical knowledge

After having an appendicitis himself, his first move whenever a member’s got a stomachache is to check their right side

Stern caretaker; doesn’t take no for an answer, and he has his ways of getting the other members to listen to him

Also not fazed by vomit anymore

Even if he gets puked on he’s not surprised (really just sighs and accepts it)

Not a verbal caretaker, really; a silent, consistent presence to do what’s needed (though if it is a member who needs verbal reassurances he’s there for that too)

Subtle in his questioning until he needs to make a deal of it; likely to ask questions to rule things out instead of straight “are you okay?” (Like, if a member seems pale or shaky, or their stomach is loud, “did you eat today?” Or if a member is flushed, he’ll ask to nobody in particular “is it hot in here, or is it just me?”)

If he needs to be blunt he’ll be blunt though (“You look like shit. You okay?”)

Not afraid to bring up past experiences (“You remember what happened the last time you did this, don’t you?”) as a scare tactic

Very gentle, though, he’s very gentle

Soft pats, gingerly playing with hair, dusting kisses, pressing lips to their forehead to check for fever, quiet reassurances

Hoseok

Better at handling the aftermath than being there in the moment

He’s squeamish, so blood and vomit can get him kinda shaky or nauseous himself

Therefore he’s much better at cheering a sick member up after they’ve vomited than being there to rub their back while it’s happening

That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t do it anyway though

Very good at brightening the mood, though; good at providing a distraction from the pain

Will pull a member into his lap and hold them if they look even remotely uncomfortable; the others are totally okay with skinship and cuddling, so it’s a tactic that works

Gives good belly rubs

Lots of baby talk

Tummy, belly, icky, etc

Will talk to a member’s gurgly tum

Isn’t necessarily as good at reading the others

But he’s still a good caretaker once he’s caught on

Kind of an awkward caretaker

But he’s another part of the unfazed line

A bit panicky, and easily worried

But he has a stomach of steel

He’s typically the one on clean-up duty if a mess is made and there are multiple members to help care for the sickie

If he’s alone with another member it’s easier for him to sort of go on instinct? When it’s on him to figure out what to do he can figure it out

It just doesn’t come AS naturally as it does for some of the others

Less of a sense of a specific member being ill or a sense of illness being the cause, more of a sense of impending doom; he has a good instinct for when something bad is gonna happen

Openly extremely nonjudgmental

Not that any of the members would judge anyone else

But Namjoon is very obviously laidback

Considering how casual he handles his own illness

It’s a lot on him to handle things like sudden illness as a leader because he’s…the leader? (I.E, when Jungkook was really dizzy and struggling to perform and on the verge of passing out during their performance in Chile, Namjoon did say during the Burn the Stage episode that “since I have to speak for us, it’s very hard for me when these kinds of things happen. Because I’m also a kid. “

Jimin

Naturally inclined to care for others

Puts others before himself, most definitely

If he had pneumonia while another member had a cold, he’d still try to fuss over the other member first

Cuddles, lots of cuddles, and he doesn’t care if he gets sick

Dating someone? They have a stomach bug? Will kiss them anyway, not that he doesn’t think he won’t get sick. He knows full well that he’ll get sick, but the thing is, he really doesn’t care

Very good at calming members down, he just has a really calming presence, calming voice

Gives tight hugs and cuddles that say he doesn’t intend on leaving

Vomit doesn’t really bother him either, but seeing another member ill in any way scares him a bit, just because he’s worried for their health

Also gives good belly rubs, and he also likes playing with the others’ hair and kissing them softly

Taehyung

Another member who tries to lighten the mood more than hush the sickie

He’s very willing to cuddle at all times; he’s a very clingy type in every day life, and when he’s looking after someone, it’s ten times more

He doesn’t like letting the sickie(s) out of eyeshot, he gets worried something might happen

I think he’s a lot more of a physical comfort type than verbal comfort, though he’ll go for both

It’s hard because I don’t really picture him or the other maknaes taking care of the others since I think they’re the ones that are sick the most ??

Jungkook

It’s really weird to think of Jungkook as a caretaker lmaooo

I think he’s on the awkward side as well, because he’s the one always getting fussed over

But he’s not terrible

He’ll still be there to rub a member’s back, keep their hair back, he won’t totally freeze up or anything

I just think it’s a foreign feeling to him, so he doesn’t really know what to do

There comes a point where he’s able to just run off common sense though, and that gets him by well enough

He knows the others well, but not as much as they know him

I don’t think he even knows himself as well as his hyungs know him

He gets really sad when the others are unwell in any way, and really sympathetic; I have a feeling he apologizes often as a response

YOU GOT IT ANON! Sick Tighnari headcanons coming right up!

Some of these I've had in my head for ages, but ngl a lot of them just formed as I was writing him! I love learning more about a character through the process of writing them.

- His body doesn't give him a lot of warning before he throws up. Usually he'll get only a couple of moments time to rush to the nearest bathroom or grab a bin, but sometimes he'll go from only feeling mildly queasy to suddenly projectile vomiting onto the floor.

It's a very stark contrast to Cyno, who'll be sitting on the bathroom floor for an hour waiting to just throw up.

- On the topic of contrasts to Cyno, Tighnari doesn't like camping out in the bathroom. If he's feeling like he might really throw up any moment, he'll get himself situated in front of the toilet, but he won't wait out the nausea on the bathroom floor like Cyno would. He'd much rather stay somewhere more comfortable and keep a bucket nearby in case it came to that.

- He sweats a lot when he throws up. When he's feverish or just straight up not feeling well he's already sweaty, but physically vomiting leaves him sweating bullets.

- He's very good about trying to stay hydrated when he's been throwing up, and will try several home remedies for nausea in an attempt to keep some fluids down.

- Recurring migraines mean nausea is unfortunately not anything new to him. Most of the times he's vomited in his life, it was from a migraine.

- If a migraine isn't behind whatever's making him nauseous, there's a good chance throwing up (especially repeatedly) will lead to him getting one, or just getting a really bad headache at the least.
