I hope vomit stories are still welcome. I’m experiencing one right now and writing it down helps reduce my anxiety.
I am someone who rarely throws up, I have a strong stomach and that means that if I’m nauseous, I can usually safely ride it out without fear that I’ll have to puke.
Today I’m at work, having had very little sleep because there is a heatwave and I was nauseous all night. Typically that feeling will pass after I wake up and have breakfast, but when I was on my way to work I noticed I felt even more ill than before.
I’ve been at work for 7 hours now, still feeling bad. There is no privacy at work even in the bathrooms - they’re close to the office floor and on the rare occasions I do throw up, it’s loud so everyone would hear if I was sick in there.
Im struggling to concentrate because my stomach is so sensitive, just now I started writing with a pen and even the smell of the ink made me so nauseous my mouth was watering. I swallowed the saliva and my stomach lurched hard, I got that cold dizzy feeling that happens before you puke and I was sure it was about to happen then and there but it didn’t.
This is a bit of a thing with me, if I’m really nauseous my body will take me to the brink of vomiting for hours but almost never lets me naturally puke, I partly put this down to years working public facing jobs with few opportunities for a bathroom break.
I have 2.5 more hours to get through, then a boiling hot 45 min crowded bus ride before I can be at home.
This has gone on all day now and I don’t think it will go away on its own. I feel like I really need to be sick. Will add more to this after work.
At home - bus ride was hell. I put a plastic bag from work in my handbag in case I was sick before I could get off. I couldn’t look at my phone or I think I would have thrown up. It was as I expected, totally full and without aircon. Someone was eating something and I gagged from the smell, idk if anyone noticed. I started getting the bag out but the gagging stopped.
When I got off I just sat at the bus stop catching my breath before starting the walk home, which was hell. At one point I thought, fuck it I’m going to have to stop at the park and just puke in a bush or something but when I got there there were people taking wedding or engagement photos 😭
Somehow made it all the way home and started gagging as soon as I got in the door. Roommate is in bathroom so sitting on my bedroom floor with the bag in my lap waiting for her to finish.
Gags have been mostly quiet so far but I just retched really hard and a dribble of bile water just came up. I am so light headed. I need to be sick so bad, my stomach keeps clenching and I can feel the vomit coming up and just sitting there.
Roommate taking her time so I’m going to have to do it here. Tied up my hair and sitting with my back against the wall leaving over the bag.
I made myself slow my breathing down and relax all of my muscle groups one at a time. S soon as I did that I got a wave of cold dizziness and my face started to tingle and then I heaved, it was a really hard strain and made a gurgling sound and I vomit/burpee yellow milky liquid into the bag. That happened again immediately, louder and the vomit was a bit thicker. I kept retching but nothing was coming out for a few minutes so I sat back and tried the relaxation technique again and I have just been sick again, the bag isn’t really big enough and I’ve thrown up on my skirt. I’m still so dizzy and my stomach feels like it’s swirling. I am hanging my head over my lap with my mouth open dripping saliva, I still feel like I need to get sick again.
vomit stories are always welcome!!!! thank you so much for this omg i loved it.. i wish i could have seen you puking <3
Our stomach is, surprisingly lol, also strong. It's very rare that we throw up naturally tbh, but it does happen every now and again. We get nauseous fairly often, but are able to keep it together majority of the time. Our body does the same thing with getting suuuper close to puking but then... nothin. lol
i know i'm a few days late now lol but I hope you're feeling better!! but if you're not.... feel free to drop by my inbox again ;)
