ok this may or may not be a hot take but honestly i was glad kali died in the finale and its mostly bc she was this huge plot hole in the series

like she popped in for season two and we just casually never saw or heard of her again until now-

note: that was so fucked up too like she became a focal part of els character development in season two and we see el get super attached to her only for her to never be mentioned again like she meant nothing and like she wasnt els sister!!!

-which ig works with the whole gov secrets thing but even then i wished we had gotten some moment of el looking for her or some fnaf style newspaper clippings of kalis gang and their killing spree

and its not even that i hate kali like i love her sm its just she became so irrelevant that when they tried to bring her back i just got mad at how sudden it was

like there was no suspense or anything it felt like a “here, damn!” moment where the duffer brothers just felt like throwing in a random reveal
