The family took care of him, generation by generation, until Emilly arrived.

"Emilly!" Yuriko was surprised to see her friend behind the door. Surprised, yet over the moon, for Emilly now was the first friend visiting their new house after moving in. Of course, the other Mukamis and Yuriko's brother with his wife and children had come by. But it was so blessed to have a friend visiting by their own accord.

"Please, come in." Listening closely, Yuriko let the other girl in. "Oh? You... you have heard?"

Yuriko nodded, giggling happily. "That's right, we're expecting a baby girl." She rubbed the small of her back and swayed her weight slowly from one leg to another.

"Do you want to sit down in the living room?" Yuriko beamed. "And I would love to hear what is going on with you~"
