thinking about all the potential dynamics between emma and julia due to them both being former influencers...
going the upsetting route... emma and julia getting in a fight because julia was being rude or causing problems and emma got sick of it, only for julia to then flood emma with how she's not as perfect as she likes to pretend. julia telling emma about all the awful things people say about her on the internet — how she brought down the channel, how was always the least fun to watch, how she was a terrible girlfriend who didn't deserve chase, how her leaving the internet was the best thing she ever done. and julia just keeps hitting her where it hurts, going on about how emma must've lost all her friends, how strangers must've taken pictures of her in public and laughed at her, how she must struggle to trust anyone.
meanwhile, julia doesn't have those problems. she never liked any of her former "friends." she doesn't care if people like her or not. she's not like emma, she's better — emma wishes she was her.
or you could have a more lighthearted dynamic where emma reaches out to julia and talks about how it must actually be kind of freeing to not have to pretend to be someone she isn't. maybe emma even opens up about how much better her anxiety has gotten now that she doesn't have to worry about being on camera or worrying if she's gonna get any hate comments or if people aren't going to like her newest video.
but she also knows how hard it must be for julia now. even if she claims to not care, emma knows what it's like to feel like people won't like her no matter what personality she displays, how everything she does is wrong. how even if they're coming from a complete stranger that doesn't even matter, words can still hurt. julia doesn't open up just yet, but emma reminds her that she's always in her corner.
OR the silly dynamic where julia thinks that since they're both former influencers, they must have something in common and constantly hangs around emma and emma is deeply uncomfortable but is trying to be nice — kind of like heather and gwen in all stars when heather thought gwen was being evil on purpose.
