HIGHLY TOXIC INTRO
When a snake bites you, you have to suck all the poison out. I believe I’m old enough to know what’s right from wrong. Never been the kind of person that puts up with infidelity nor have I been or seen the other side of the coin. But I have also learned to never say never. Life is an endless journey; you never know where is taking you next. Today, this is my story; tomorrow this could be yours.
I believe marriage is a long commitment between two people. I believe in the whole traditional “better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part.” Call me old fashion but I believe a marriage is sacred, and should be respected. No one should be forced into it, or be in it just because it works on their best interest. If it’s one thing I will NEVER understand, is to why people have the need to cheat. Why cheat on your girlfriend/boyfriend, or your wife/husband? The world would be a simple place if we could just communicate with honesty. Is it so hard to say, “I no longer have feelings for you”; “There is someone else”? But I guess nothing in this world is that simple.
I’ve been cheated on in the past, and I come from a broken home due to infidelity. I know for a fact, I’m neither the first nor the last, but I’ve always been very strong-minded when it comes down to infidelity. It doesn’t go with me, and I don’t respect it.
I’m far away from perfect and I have 24 years of practice to prove that. I don’t like to be judged and I don’t necessary enjoy judging people. I like to believe in “do you and I do me”, “Live and Let Live”… and because of that I’ve been lucky enough to witness many things through my life. If it’s one thing I’ve learned along the way, it is something my grandfather has always told me, and that is to “Observe, Listen but keep your opinions to yourself”. Nobody likes to hear about their own flaws or be told that what they are doing is wrong. It’s so easy for us to point out other people’s mistakes that we seem to forget about our own. These 24 years of my life have taught me not to judge people; because you never know what you might come across. Everybody goes through different type of scenarios, the things that you do, don’t necessary define you, but they definitely shape you.
Let me guide you through my crazy stories, introduce you to some special characters and tell you how some people are plain TOXIC.
