Ok I wasn’t really expecting this but I think over the course of this season it crept up on me that I kinda do ship Emma x Cate in Gen V???

Part of it is the enemies to lovers of it all, with Emma being the most vocally and aggressively anti-cate but clearly softening towards her despite herself as the season went on (because Emma is best girl). But what sealed the deal for me was the way Cate was looking at Emma in that final episode… idk I guess Cate kinda looks at everyone like she’s in love with them (she definitely does it with Marie too) but it just seemed dialled up with Emma.

Also. The lip bite as she watched Emma walk away after Emma joked (?) about wanting a threesome with her and Marie. Hmmmm.

I know emmacate isn’t gonna happen and I don’t even necessarily think it should, but Emma is bi (can’t even remember if that’s canon but it’s a fact imo) and I get mad sapphic vibes from Cate. Soooooo it wouldn’t be the craziest thing ever…..
