the absolute best advice i can give 2 any1 that is emo and/or goth at heart, n either a.) never got 2 express it or b.) *did* go thru a goth/emo phase when they were younger but got bullied or abused b/c of it is this:

whenever u have the ability 2 safely express it, DO IT!!!!

even if u have 2 do it in private when no one else is home (i.e. u still live w ur parents or smth), or maybe ur an adult now n r fully safe 2 do it but still have a lot of shame or religious guilt abt it (i am personally speaking from experience here), whenever u have the chance 2 do so--BE YOURSELF!!! i PROMISE it feels awesome n u deserve 2 be urself n feel awesome n badass n sexy 🖤🖤🖤
