I think I like Sniolga (Snivy x Emolga) more when they're toxic for each other. Idk maybe it's because I don't really ship them a lot so they're more fun to me when its horrible?? Either way, the idea that Emolga has a small crush on Snivy while Snivy's sorta vindictive towards her is fun to me.
For me, I like to hc that Emolga reminds Snivy of her old trainer, at least for a while before seeing how Emolga actually is. And because she has that view on Emolga she unfairly lets out her negative feelings onto Emolga. I find sniolga a interesting dynamic. They're on opposite sides of the same coin and I will always enjoy those type of dynamics.
