Grian time

God this was such a pain to draw. I was originally trying to draw him in an outfit inspired by the Fae and Mad Hatter but it somehow morphed into a jester?? Regardless of what hat he’s wearing Grian is still absolutely mad so I count this as a win. I added lots of heart imagery to reference the life series as well as some little nots to the whole Watcher Grian theory because it’s fun.

Day 11-13 of Empirestober!

Grian’s newest hermitcraft episode, where they all go to Empires, is giving me brainrot. Especially Hermitland- Grian said lore-wise, hermits are a very small species that focus on infrastructure and farms.  First thing that I thought of was lil fae folk hermits.

The hermits fly and use their elytra everywhere, so a winged species would make sense. And with fae-creatures you can get a lot of different type of wings too, not just insectoid.  And while Empires is more medieval, with all the redstoner hermits, they could easily combine more aesthetically pleasing decorative farms with ‘magic-powered’ industrial ones.  Their obsession with diamonds, being as that is what they used as currency, can also be said to be either a magical focus, similar to Scar’s crystals, or as an edible currency of sorts.  And fae aren’t easily seen in most cases unless they want to, so it could easily give a reason as to why they haven’t been discovered/encountered until this late. Or maybe they’re just lil pocket sized folk that no one has noticed.  I will mention they’ve already stolen stuff from Pixlriff’s chests lol. Sneaky lil gremlin folk.
