This is one of my fave serums! It works well for blemish prone skin and helps get rid of large pores. I will definitely be repurchasing soon! ♡ I've already posted a review of this product, so definitely check it out!

Organized some perfume samples today to make sense of what I have but I might never be done, so let's take a break and look at the pretty light and go through some empties. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Firstly, the Sothys eye pencil that I loved and isn't easy to find. This was a twist up, so no sharpening required and yes, that's my favourite type of pencil. I think it came as part of a duo, and is on the Sothy's website. They have a Canadian website. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Moving on - @NeutrogenaCanada serum sunscreen. I loved this because it's so light but it's also so shimmery. I liked it but some of you may not. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ LIttle mini Kerastase hair conditioner - loved it, thanks for the sample @jeromesalon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Larger @alternahaircarecan Caviar Anti-Frizz Conditioner. I liked it, but the bond-repair conditioner is more smoothing especially if you have curly hair and would like something smoothing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Finally, a mini Luna oil from Sunday Riley. This was a freebie in, what else, a Sephora order. I caught the sun this morning, so here are some empties. I took a break last weekend because there wasn't anything but today there is. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alterna Caviar Restructuring Bond Repair mask. I love this line because it makes my hair so smooth and I do a weekly conditioning treatment with this mask. Love it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Moisturizing Face Serum Sunscreen. SPF 50+. This is a light easy-to-wear sunscreen. Broad Spectrum and a high enough SPF that you'll be protected for a while. Love it. I would love a larger bottle of it so that it would last me longer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pixi Skintreats Retinol Tonic. I like this ok... smelled like Dettol... I used it as a toner in the morning. Again it was fine, but I don't know if it was doing much. I just used it to wipe on my skin first thing in the morning in place of a cleanse and it was great. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tarte the Tartelette Tubing Mascara. I loved this mascara and I will for sure repurchase. It's a dark intense black and the real tubing formula just lasts and lasts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dior moisturising lipstick in a clear shimmer colour. Empties from the past few weeks. I've mentioned all of these in passing, and have reviewed them at some point, but here goes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Neutrogena Stubborn Marks PM Treatment. I would say that this didn't seem to be overly effective. They said that this had Retinol SA in it which is "highly refined" but there's no mention of how much... The term "stubborn marks" is also vague... when there's a new mark... it seems stubborn because of our own perception, but is that the same as a sunspot that is going to be more persistent? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I did love the Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Cleanser. It's gently foaming so I like that but not stripping. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ K18. I don't know why, I gave this another chance. I think I'm going to say that if this is doing anything, I can't tell, so ... pass for me. Honestly, I think the best thing for my hair is the @keratinworks treatment because after it I can wash and go instead of blow-drying and maybe that's the best thing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Cleansing Balm - I love this for after swimming in the pool because it's kind of like a shampoo and conditioner in one. It doesn't foam, and it's not for a deep clean. I only used it twice a week, but I do like it and would repurchase. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lise Watier Sublimessence Vitamin C serum - I loved this serum. I did think that it made my skin look more glowy and it was easy to use with my other skincare. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash - again, nice and not too drying. A few empties. I haven’t posted in a while because I got tired of the constant roundup of these but now I’m back… I mean it was summer so sunscreen finished regularly, which is to be expected and I still have a few open because I’m still out and about. Anyway, let’s start with a couple of rose-scented hair products I finished. If you’re a hair person, @christopherobinparis has the best scents and they are on the strong side. I do like that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you're looking for a rose-scented hair product, here are 2 options, and you really get what you pay for. The @aveenoca Rose Water and Chamomile Blend Shampoo has a nice rosy scent, but it doesn't last. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Christophe Robin Volume Conditioner with rose extracts smells strongly of rose water, and not only will you smell it in your hair for days, it'll give you a little scent bubble to enjoy too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some people don't like a long-lasting hair product smell, because they're going to add more perfume on top, and in that case, the Aveeno is perfect. You get a fresh rose scent in the shower and that's it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also finished the @charlottetilbury Push Up Lashes mascara. When you see that a mascara doesn’t give oomph like it used to, it’s time to change it out. The huge tub of Keri is from last year. The @muradskincare sunscreen is totally clear and I have a reel of it posted. @larocheposay sunscreen is a fav and the @neutrogenacanada Skin Balancing cleanser worked well and smelled so good! Kind of fresh but earthy. I like the clay in it because it left my skin matte but it wasn’t too foaming so I didn’t find it to be drying. I would definitely use this again. Some empties from the past couple of weeks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ First, this old @fentybeauty setting powder. Do you throw yours away once it gets to this stage or do you keep using your powders until they are completely done? I find that I can pick up product from the edges with a smaller brush, but I like to apply powder with a big fluffy brush and it's impossible to pick up enough product now. I do like this powder for setting, but it's not really long-lasting or very mattifying. Apply powder thinly and work in layers. I like to apply a bit before my foundation and then some after, but I'm pretty glowy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @christopherobinparis Aloe Melting Mask was maybe the best-smelling hair product ever. Like a gorgeous men's fougere... If you see this in a store, see if you can smell it. I'm going to rebuy, even though I go through conditioner so quickly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @amika Dream Routine Overnight Hydration Treatment. Adored this. Great on wet or dry hair and the finish is not greasy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @neutrogenacanada Ultra Sheer Body Mist. Mists don't give you the best coverage, so I use to top up or even just to cool down. I do like applying on my shoulders if I can feel them heating up. But cream sunscreen is best. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Neutrogena Hydro Boost. One of my all-time favs especially for the body. It's a little shimmery but the texture is weightless. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @kaifragrance Body Wash. I've really grown to love the scent of this gardenia body wash, and I've run out of my body lotion as well. Beautiful body products. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @garniercan Micellar Water. I used this as a last step in my cleansing routine to take off any leftover makeup residue, and I loved it for that! Finally, L’Oréal Le Colour Gloss to keep those highlights a bit toned. Imagine my surprise when I went to use this and found the tube almost empty. Empties from the past couple of weeks... as I'm writing this and looking at the picture, it looks like I've gone through so much stuff, but I've had some of these on the go for a while. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Like that Bumble and Bumble Nourishing dry shampoo. That lived at work for a while in case I had plans after work and needed to jhuj up my hair before I left. So, I used it here and there for a year? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Fresh Black Tea Kombucha essence did not last me long - I think I went through this bottle in a couple of weeks, so that was pricy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Strivectin Super-B oil - loved how it smelled and got it back in September. I really loved this oil it just sealed in moisture and I feel like I woke up to happier skin in the morning. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Vichy Liftactiv B3 serum was AMAZING. I got it in PR and I would repurchase. Loved it, because it had so many active ingredients in one serum. I got it in September, so it lasted me a while! I was very consistent with using it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Paula's Choice Azelaic Acid. Definitely try this if you are dealing with pigmentation on your skin. I liked it and I think it did help. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dior Collagen Activ Gloss - I loved it. I've had it for years. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also finished the Alterna hair serum, and ugh, I didn't get a good picture of it. I will say that it smelled lovely. I am finding that a hair cream works better for me than just a serum. Some empties from the past couple of weeks. Yes, not one but 2 Cerave face washes. I had both the foaming cleanser and the Cream to Foam cleanser on the go, and the Cream to Foam is my favourite. It’s a more cushiony texture that’s still washes clean. I liked it and I love the size of these face washes and the price point. Honestly, I’ll never stop buying and using drugstore cleansers. Boscia retinoid oil was easy to use. An oil always feels moisturizing so I love that. I also ran out of my Boscia body lotion and I adored that! It was light and absorbed quickly!!! Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé. This is a creamy matte lip colour. I got it free with a Sephora order and I probably wouldn’t rebuy it. I didn’t love this colour and the finish was drying but not long-wearing. I’ve been wearing more glossy lipsticks these days. The Footlogix foam was a waste of money. I got talked into getting it by my aesthetician and honestly a $10 urea cream feels better and actually makes a difference. L’Oréal Voluminous Balm mascara. I loved this but I’m not going to rebuy.
