Yvonya lost her eyes and her blood is tar-like from taking some of the boons from the ancient forces in the Amber Temple and it necessitated a design update.

She can still see normally, it’s just empty sockets thar seep tar. This is mostly annoying for her, she’s never cared about her looks so it seemed like a small price to pay for a year long effect of Mind Blank if it helps her free Barovia from Strahd.

I’m finally getting to know Yvonya better as we start digging into the characters backstories, and realizing she only has her faith and no idea who she is without it.
