                           Laurel Lang ; Task 3

Laurel Lang’s Apartment

Laurel lives in Hell’s Kitchen. She lives less than 10 blocks from the Fitzgerald Jazz & Poetry Club which is where she bartends on the weekend. Her father left her everything after he died so she was able to move to New York with a pretty big chunk of change so she could afford an one bedroom walkup in Hell’s Kitchen. She loved the white painted brick and the French doors that lead into her bedroom. It is more like a studio but she likes the small space because she didn’t want to get a roommate and lives her own space. She is still organizing things and figuring out the design she wants but she needed somewhere to live because she wanted to get out here as soon as possible. She works as a nanny and bartender so she isn’t rolling on dough by any means but her father’s money helps.

                           Levi Vale ; Task 3

Levi Vale’s Apartment

Levi lives in Midtown. He as born and raised in Midtown but he couldn’t picture living anywhere else when he was old enough to have his own place. During the five months that he was living in London, his lease expired and had all of his stuff moved out rather than sign up for another twelve months because he wasn’t sure how long he would be in London. But after four months, he moved back to New York and immediately started for a place in a similar area of his previous apartment and as far as he can get from Time’s Square. He is slowly redecorating his apartment and loves putting artwork up on his walls.

l e o  e l l i s; easy living

Leo lives in a small 300 sq. foot studio apartment in Hell’s Kitchen and has since May when he first moved to the city. He’s stayed longer than he planned but never graduated from that transitional period when he wasn’t sure how long he’d actually stick around. He also doesn’t really see the point– a mattress is a mattress and he’s fine with that. He’s never been high maintenance and that hasn’t changed since living in New York, if anything his need for comfort has lessened given how expensive everything is. 

At the same time, Leo prefers how small it is, how much less room there is to fill and how it doesn’t feel so empty. Before moving to New York, before living on his own for the past nine months now, he spent 10 years traveling with Luca and that’s the main reason he’s never stayed in more than one place for long or settled anywhere. Because just like the rest of his life, it always feels emptier without his Hunter’s Pair.
