I am dearly departed to those who loved me. Demon, to those who loathed me. Spectacle, to those who watch me now.  I am a work day for the executioner. An operating cadaver for the medical student. A hole to dig for the groundskeeper. I am a meal for someone. The birds up high, or those that root in the ground, or metaphorically in the passing of coin. I am a reminder, a message in my remains.

An ocean stretched out in front of me with vast unknowns ahead. An urge within to jump, dive, run. Fill the sails with wind and increase my speed forward, because I can’t get there fast enough and I’m already so far gone. Adventure, my muse, my beloved, knows only one direction, and it pulls my heartstrings along.

I got bored with the Haystack save so I'm going to play with something else ! I finished furnishing my new sims appartment and I'm starting playing rn ! I'm going to start queuing post monday night or tuesday night cause I have a v busy weekend and beginning of the week

The argument I'm seeing a lot on social media (lets be honest, we all have that regretful friend who posts about this, especially if they themselves identify as female but not a feminist) is how we don't need feminism in the 21st century. Their arguments: "women have voting rights", "they can have a job and go to school", "look at all the other countries who don't have this, we should be happy we have these at all!" While all these facts are true and fine for those advocating for first and second wave feminism, honestly where the roots of feminism reside and where we first started fighting, these statements often ignore the intersectional elements of feminism in this wave. What about WOC and the struggles they often face with representation in this modern world? Disablity and mental illness rights? Sexual freedom and those who are persecuted for who they love? What about the toxic masculinity that hurts men WAY MORE than "man-haters"? The truth is this: feminism has gone from a movement of white, middle and upper class women fighting for political/working rights to a movement that includes all types of women fighting against the demonization of our gender. So, before you press that share button on a post about how we don't need feminism...think about what the modern form of feminism really is and not your historical interpretation of it.

I am a goddess. I think the words then write them down in black ink, soaking and staining and remaking. I create the flow and I also create the breaks; this is my design. I won’t be worshiped in a prude congregation. I won’t be worshiped with the intention that I am the Mother, alone. I am part of a heaven that gathers in the vast shelves alongside our gospels. I will be worshiped in the small gatherings of suburban women as they escape their families. I will be worshiped on the bus ride home, the bedroom after lights out. My offertory incense will smell of Alexandria, smell of knowledge found and lost. My offertory hymns will be the wing beats of turned pages and pleas for something more.
