I didn't catch this the first time reading Enchanted, Inc but I've since worked on a production of Damn Yankees. It was the Washington Senators that were referenced in that show - specifically the team that went on to become the Minnesota Twins. Well okay I'm assuming this since the musical was written in the 1950s and it was in 1960 that the Senators became the Twins. But then in 1961 a new Washington Senators team was established, and this one later became the Texas Rangers. So yeah different team lol.
Anyway I just went through wikipedia looking all this up cause I was like "nope that's not right wonder why the author might have thought that oh that's why." Gotta check dates!
It might be time for a reread of this series. It's been on my mind a lot lately for some reason. Cheesy but sweet what can I say?
A fantasy/chic lit book about Katie Chandler who moves to New York and starts seeing strange things. After finding out she's a magical immune, she goes to work for Magic Spells and Illusions Inc, a company that sells spells. Can the completely ordinary and non-magical Katie save the day and stop a rogue wizard? I really love this series, so all of you should read it too. It's really funny, cute, intriguing, and wonderful.
Fandoms
I know it seems like I'm in a lot of fandoms, but really it's just one. I'm a fan of good stories. It's just that there are so many books, movies, tv shows, and even bands that are so good at telling stories. Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Relient K, Discworld, Marvel, Enchanted Inc, Shakespeare, Disney... whatever. I love a good story.
