Art at First Presents “Save the Earth” Artists Respond to the Climate Crises Opened on line, Wednesday, October 7 This is both a #FBF and a new show post! I’m very pleased to have my work included in this current show with First Presbyterian Church in the West Village. The show can be viewed at www.fpcnyc.org/outreach-service/programs/art-at-first The two paintings in the show are both from my 1995 “Endangered Species Series”. Resistance to the work back then was due to the subject and the cross shape, so works from this series have not been shown that often. There are 11 paintings and some drawings included in the series. After studying about the onslaught of endangered species, I created this series to call attention to these devastating environmental issues.
