Together, We Can End Extreme Poverty in Our Lifetime.

Extreme poverty is a reality that affects millions of people worldwide. It is a vicious cycle of hunger, malnutrition, lack of education, and opportunities that condemn entire generations to hopelessness. However, at AGAPE HAND, we firmly believe that this problem is not insurmountable. With concrete actions and a global commitment, we can eradicate extreme poverty in our generation. The Reality of Extreme Poverty In many communities in the Peruvian highlands and jungle, the lack of access to food, clean water, and quality education is a constant barrier to development. In places like Huasahuasi, Tarma, Huancayo, Huánuco, Huancavelica, Ayacucho, and Apurímac, as well as in native Asháninka and Shipibo communities, extreme poverty manifests in precarious living conditions. Many families survive on less than a dollar a day, facing food insecurity and a lack of economic opportunities.

Our Response: Zero Hunger and Empowerment Through our "Zero Hunger and Empowerment" program, at AGAPE HAND, we provide immediate and sustainable assistance. We supply food and train people in trades such as weaving, handicrafts, and ecological production. Additionally, we facilitate access to local and international markets, allowing families to generate their own income and improve their quality of life. It is not just about donating but about creating lasting opportunities for development. The Key: Uniting Efforts Eradicating extreme poverty is possible if we work together. We need the commitment of individuals, businesses, governments, and organizations to achieve a real impact. Every contribution, every act of solidarity, and every effort towards equity brings us closer to a world where no one has to suffer from hunger or exclusion. You can be part of the change.
