Domestic (partner) (Gender based Violence) is the most common violence against women and girls practiced among Communities in Uganda nowadays, Due to the effects of #covid_19 it has increased and gained momentum as it's related to gender inequality, multiple partners, alcohol and poverty. Mr Onwen William Ochieng commits the offense before his children after his wife requesting for money to buy cassava floor. Gender based Violence (Domestic Violence) is a global challenge that Violet's fundamental human rights and abuse of woman's diginity, it's associated with demographic, socio-economic, socio-cultural and lifestyle factors. Higher age and number of children of women seem to associated with a reduced risk of violence while poverty and low education of male partners seem to be associated with increased risk of violence. In some societies it's sign of love which is wrong; Join AYOWECCA UGANDA to eliminate such bad habits in our community.
