We welcomed the new Congress by leaving this BOLD message in their morning newspapers!
Hi Rep. Mike Rogers! We fixed your press release! P.S. Thanks for the advance warning re: your upcoming plans to ban abortion coverage by making the Hyde Amendment permanent!
What to expect on Planned Parenthood, legal battles, and more in the Trump administration’s first year.
If you care about repro health, rights, and justice, here’s what you need to know about 2017. h/t @vox
Destiny Lopez, co-director of All* Above All, told Rewire it will be critical to expose the Trump administration's agenda to “shame and bully and punish poor women” as the organization mobilizes supporters to pressure members of Congress to stand against anti-choice measures.
Trump wants to make the Hyde Amendment permanent law. We're using BOLD tactics to expose his agenda of shaming, bullying, and punishing poor women. h/t @wearerewire
How the Gorges City Became the 9th Place to Pass a Resolution Calling on Congress to #BeBoldEndHyde
This is our Planned Parenthood! We’re SO PROUD!
On September 7th 2016 the City of Ithaca Common Council voted to pass a resolution calling on the federal government to adopt the EACH Woman Act. This was made possible by Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes' support from All* Above All and the National Institute for Reproductive Health.

"As with any bold movement, ours is being fueled by a generation of activists and leaders — primarily women of color ." Yesterday, the Washington Post published a profile on Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood. Under Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood’s fight for reproductive health care access has been strengthened in recent years. However, the article failed to mention that the work to #EndHyde was led by women of color organizations and activists. It is imperative that we recognize the work that reproductive justice leaders have done to improve access to sexual and reproductive health care--and to center women of color in our conversation on reproductive rights.
