Every story have an ending, one way or other.
As years before the Great War started, Jacob and Maxwell went into a mission together, still skillful despite their ages... but then a Templar mortally wounded Roth, and Jacob killed the Templar back. Desperate, Jacob takes Max out of the factory but he's already dying. In his tears, Jacob knew there's nothing he could do this time. Roth smiles, ask Jacob to be strong and continue, that he always loves him.
Then years pass until 1932. Jacob, already at a very old age, decides to watch a show in the Alhambra instead of staying at home and resting. He knew his end is near and he wants to be in the very place where he and the love of his life consummated their love. Enjoy the show, smiles at the applauses and the reviews of the show. Then retired to one of the resting rooms, covered in a blanket. Then waits. Until finally feel tears of happiness on his eyes as he recognize the figure of his beloved Maxwell, how he looked back in 1868, really to take him to eternity at his side.
"Come with me, my dear. Everyone's waiting for you to come to paradise."

I'D LIKE TO READ IT PLEASE
[It’s over 2k words should i just post it on AO3 as a separate work? 🤔]

In celebration of the upcoming MELE release, I am revisiting some of my favorite fics I’ve written for Mass Effect.
By some measures, I got into Mass Effect late, only a few months before the ME3 release. I received ME2 as a Christmas present and was hooked immediately. A friendly squabble over possession of the Playstation led me to restart on PC, this time at the proper beginning of the trilogy, and it sparked an obsession that’s lasted nearly a decade. In a way, I have the infamous trilogy ending to thank for that; I cried for a week! But in hindsight, it was less the dubious writing and more the realization that this journey was coming to an end, and I was in no way prepared to leave this world, or these characters who had become so beloved to me.
I finished the game. Then I immediately opened a word doc, and started typing, because those feelings had to go somewhere. Home is the first time I wrote what I consider a just ending.
Excerpt:
Ten years after, she sits in a studio with a reporter on Liberation Day and answers the same tedious questions as all the years before. She tries to avoid blurting out that this is also her anniversary, in a way, by sheer coincidence also fourteen years to the day since she arrived at her X.O. post under Anderson and met the crew. She remembers that first sight of him- quiet, a little too serious for six in the morning and much too handsome for a marine, and her heart crumbles to nothing as it’s overlaid by that last glance, bloody, bruised, as their friends hauled him back aboard the ship. Away from her.
At the end, the woman asks, “You’ve been on Earth a decade now. Is it starting to feel like home?”
Home was a small room on a smaller ship with Kaidan in bed beside her. She smiles blithely and makes some trite excuse for how obviously uneasy she is, even after all this time.
(13/365) The conclusion that I've always wanted... :"(
"Katara..Zuko.. both of you are my mentors and also my best friends..please always be happy."
------
Their poses here was inspired by the last scene of Hunchback of Notre Dame.. I've made the sketch of this picture since...last year? Hahaha. And I just had the mood to finished it today. Because I read a lot of @araeph meta today, and my zutara heart need to be filled again.
Hmm... you know, I really hope that the Guru Pathik plot point can be explored more and was much more relevant in the ATLA season 3. But we never got that, which I think was a really great lost. I also think Aang could be depicted as a more beautiful character in the entire series... if only he stayed in character as that funny, friendly, peaceful airbender monk. Not too needy on Katara like in the canon. If he did let go of Katara and opened the last chakra... I wonder how the rest of the show gonna changed? But I bet it is gonna be better...
Btw if I am not lazy..maybe I am gonna draw another Ending AU.. :')
“I always do.” Jughead adjusted his large backpack that held all his belongings on his shoulder before he forged pasted his father, wearing that damn leather cut.
“Jughead you know I can’t just let you walk away from me again.” Mr. Jones turned around, holding his hand up at the gathered group of South Side Serpents who revved their engines and started towards the two.
“You can’t stop me Dad, you never could.” Jughead shot back, feeling uneasy as the motorcycles neared him and his heart sank when they started to drive around him as his Father stepped into the ring that blocked Jughead off from any exit.
“So this is new.” Jughead swallowed as he turned back to look at his Father who genuinely looked distressed and it irked Jughead.
“I’m higher up in the South Side Serpents than I was all those years ago. I have a place for us to live, you don’t have to stay homeless Juggie, you can come home and we can work on bringing Jellybean home.” Mr. Jones stepped forward to put his hands on Jughead’s shoulders, looking his son in the eyes intently.
Jughead stared back, standing his ground as he searched for any sign of the anger, hate and stress that he had grown up around. It was well hidden but less than before and Jughead still felt uneasy, but he rather have an actual bed under him before school on Monday.
“…Fine, one night and if I want to leave after you have to let me. Oh and if I see your South Side Serpents goons following me again, then I will go to the Sheriff.” Jughead threatened and sighed as his Father grinned and the circle of motorcycles drove off towards the road.
“Come on son, let’s go home.” Mr. Jones tugged his son towards where his own bike was parked.
“Yeah.” Jughead wasn’t sure this was good idea, but it was a start.
