Does Happy Chaos remind you of Terumi more or less in your opinion? I get Terumi-vibes from him.
Not really.
I mean, I can see why, but they're too different. Terumi is that antagonist that you'd love to hate because the man is downright cruel and sadistic, he feeds (literally) off of pure hatred to keep his existence going. The more you hate him, the stronger he becomes. Even though he is cunning, Terumi is too arrogant and whenever his plans go wrong, he'll throw a major fit and lash out at the person who pisses him off. His tantrum can make him reckless. Plus, dude has quite a potty mouth lol
Happy Chaos is a whole different animal himself. Unlike Terumi, the guy is calmer and laidback. He just doesn't care about anything, even if there are loopholes in his plans and schemes, he'll just go with the flow or get a little creative by improvising. Nothing really or truly phases him because the man knows damn well that almost nobody (save for probably Nagoriyuki) can threaten him.
As entertaining as those two are, if you were to do a character analysis on them and how they think, I find Happy Chaos more terrifying than Terumi. See, Terumi knows what he is doing to people will piss them off and he relishes that. Happy Chaos, he actually and genuinely believes what he is doing isn't wrong but beneficial for human growth, even though his methods are too extreme and abusive. His view and perception of the world is warped and abnormal. Heck, his biography about his likes and dislikes are said to be constantly changing, he is too random.
You might still say 'Nah, Happy Chaos is evil and insane', that's cool, but those terminologies are subjective. To us, his actions are wrong, but to him, they are justified. He isn't a sadist like Terumi, he even told Daryl that he that he dislikes watching people suffer, but he likes to see them struggle.
Before you say, 'But VC, suffering and struggling are the same thing!', no it is not. Suffering is a state of bearing pain while struggling is making an effort and persevere through difficult times.
Make no mistake, I don't agree with Happy Chaos' actions or methods, but I don't think he is anything like Terumi. I've said it before in my other posts many times and I'll say it again, I can't see Happy Chaos as a character or person, just a force of nature or 'natural disaster' that can occur at any moment in time. Terumi, that is a character you're supposed to hate and want to get rid of, but Chaos on the other hand, he feels like something you can never get rid of, he'll continue to exist.
