Ales (Sardinia). Via Marconi. Final part. The end of the street reserves the best surprises, as we approach the church of Santa Maria, which stands on a hill compared to the street. Some old houses are better preserved or restored here conservatively, like the first one I show. The renovated portal is also interesting, the type of which we have already met and will find again. Then there is an ancient peasant house (which we will see in more detail) in front of the street, but classified in the ancient Via D'Arborea, which crosses. The retaining wall, which protects the embankment of the church courtyard, dates back to 1911, as confirmed by a semi-erased plaque on sandstone. At the end of the street, especially in the winter season, you can hear the flow of the Canali torrent, which hidden by a reed bed, continues underground until the end of the town. #finalpart #endofthestreet #hill #preserved #crosses #retainingwall #embankment #sardinia #courtyard #sandstone #winter #flow #torrent #reedbed #underground #townend #surprises #travel #traveling #visiting #instatravel #travelling #tourism #instatraveling #travelgram #travelingram #massimopistis #sovVERSIvi #ilmiolibro #estremisti Information for the purchase of my new book "Estremisti!": the book at a cost of 12.00 euros (120 pages), can be ordered in bookstores (ISBN 978-88-591-5719-9 - Publisher Aletti) or online on the page http://www.alettieditore.it/emersi/2019/pistis.html from the link below. https://www.instagram.com/p/B6bgnMXouBx/?igshid=1xzfl1viawfpf
