Sheik absolutely adores Zelda, of course~ The respect he has for her is endless, he admires her quite a lot and though she might be the reincarnation down the line of his childhood friend, he doesn’t think of her like that at all. Nope, she is her own person completely separate from ‘his’ Zelda save for the shared name. He is rather proud of his… Lover? Fiance? Whatever they are, for though he might not know all of the details of the Twilight war or whatever you might want to call it, he knows she’s been through some tough shit.
For her to still be so strong and together even after all of that, being there for her people and carrying her wisdom/title with grace and dignity- yup, he’s entirely smitten and proud of her for she’s done her lineage so proud, in his opinion that is. In short, she is truly a ‘gift from the Goddesses’ whom he is quite honoured to be able to be the lover of~
