I linked us to this list because I want to make a point and draw a parallel between the theory of spiritual energy, prana, and a quality that Cresswell is trying to describe throughout his article. Cresswell makes a distinction between space and place, and thus begins his writings that center mostly around the cultivation and journey of a place. I found it to relate to the idea of lingering energy, of filling places and spaces with that energy, and tapping into our own prana to evoke elements of personal style, feng shui, and mimicking energetic fields that are present and subconsciously recognized.

Visual Migraines linked to Energetic Causes?

So yesterday my love experienced something peculiar, in the medical terms it’s called a visual migraine. Basically It happens out of nowhere where they look like jagged flashes of lightning bolts shimmering around the object or field of vision or geometric patterns. It usually interferes or obscure vision. The seemingly hallucination episode usually lasts for 15-20 minutes and may or may not be followed by a headache. Personally we’re thinking it was a psychosomatic response due to stress because he’s been under a lot of stress at work but my mind of course went to energetic causes.  It’s not an odd thing for me randomly to see energy orbs, flashes of light, streams of light flashing in the sky, geometric shapes, or colorful orbs of starshaped patterns in my vision. It’s something i’ve experienced since I first awakened and has not gone away. I’ve gotten tested before and they say my eyes are healthy so it’s nothing clinically wrong with my vision. I just can literally see energy sometimes, it happens at random mostly. So when he mentioned this to me i just thought it was an energetic response like suddenly switching to your right-hemisphere for a moment. He described it like a flashback into an acid trip where you vision is completely distorted. Where i’m going with this is what’s concerning or different than my experiences is his vision was obscured and he couldn’t see properly for about 20 minutes, he has good eye sight so this was the first time anything like this has happened to him. I’m just merely curious if anyone who’s awakened/going through the process has experienced something similar to this before where it obscures your vision and you see nothing but an energetic field so to speak. It could have something to do with him but we also just went through a heavy energetic shift so my curiosity is peaked.  Tell me details, Who has experienced this before?

Reading into Energetic Fields

Hey Ash! So.. remember not too long ago when I said for some reason, that I was experiencing a swing between “anger” and the positive feelings of gratitude and peace? Well, today was pretty bad. I’m still reeling from the bizarre and scary event that happened around 3ish this afternoon. There was a HUGE surge of that hot, angry, agitated energy out of no where and I just couldn’t handle it and broke down in the middle of the living room like a total nutjob that belongs in the Squirrel Farm. I literally felt like I wasn’t even Me, like there -wasn’t- even a ME at that moment. So many jumbled thoughts, images and feelings that didn’t even feel like my own and the energy was just so intense and uncomfortable I felt like I was losing my marbles. I’m still feeling the aftershocks of the agitation but thankful my mind is blissfully silent now. A few friends blamed it on the solar flares and the civil unrest everywhere but I’m seriously concerned for my sanity after that.. Am I justified in feeling somewhat crazy? Has anyone you known ever had something like that happen before or even remotely similar? What did they do to cope?

Okay first off you're definitely NOT crazy, what happened was probably more of something i would call a 'glitch' where you accidentally tapped into the hive mind aka the global collective consciousness. Um i have experienced this before during a bad tripping experience at a concert, i suddenly was feeling EVERYONE around me and i didn't know i was an empath before or what was happening to me, how could i be literally connecting to an entire unit of consciousnesses at the same time. Basically this is what i like to call being an emotional telepathic sponge. You're unconsciously picking up on the vibrations and auric fields around you due to being hypersensitive towards energy.  I just knew we were going to start getting stronger and sure enough it happened on the day where we received the most powerful solar flares of this year so far. I would imagine the solar flares are an influence towards what happened. But i will just be honest with you this is a part of you, a very deep ancient part of you where you are tapping into the collective flow. This is how we can heal people! However there is a delicate balance we must respect. It gets easier to control but basically what happens is you are doing deep auric reading over time/space. You can learn to filter it because you are basically the one in control always. So what happens is a frequency channel opens up and you basically become very receptive towards what you are "tuning into" or for a better word listening into the collective conscious. It's telepathy in a nut shell but it's much deeper than that because it is literally connecting to the Hive mind, the collective mind sheath. Your soul must of knew you would be ready otherwise you wouldn't of been gifted something as incredible as that. It is scary in the beginning but this gift will open up amazing doors in your life once you learn to understand and control it better.  Try to imagine as if your consciousness is on an elevator, when you lower your vibrations, you go to a lower frequency that transmits as a baseline level, when you rise your vibration to a much higher frequency you can tune into higher vibration fields of energy.  Hence how you can tap into energy fields and auras. Arthur E. Powell writes a few amazing books on this subject. The Casual body and the ego; The Astral body; The Etheric Double etc. However basically the best way to learn this is by experience which is what happened to you. Your Ego produces a fear response at first because of cognitive dissonance. this is something from your long term memory that is surfacing, a very innate anicent magic that we ALL can technically do and understand. It can also be known as overactive empathy but i believe it's much more stronger than that. It's unconsciously tapping into Aura and energetic fields.  How to cope with this is by practice, experience and learning to control your thoughts better when this happens. We are the divine vehicle we are always the one in charge of the ship, so next time this happens instead of producing anxiety try to bring your thoughts back to your own body. Think of something only Attie would know, this not only changes focus but it creates more peace of mind. Once you are in that space again you'll be able to approach it from a higher level to learn from rather than just brush the surface. Tapping into that current is powerful because it can open up our past lives and karmic cycles, it can also bring forth past life memories, merging with the akashic records, it can also show us who we are energetically. Memory imprints so to speak. Very good question, i would only imagine this is going to start happening to more and more of us as we get stronger towards the equinox. Believe it or not this is all very normal, it's just not society's idea of "normal" :P  Try to do some research on energetic fields and aura reading, it might help you get a better peace of mind on the subject.
