Happy International Women in Engineering Day to me and all my fellow engineering colleagues out there💓😌

One month left until my exams. I already know that this will be a stressful period as I will still have to work in my internship company and drive back to my hometown to take my exams.

Luckily, this semester, I am only registered for five exams, and most of them are not really complicated or have a huge amount of contens I have to study.

Also, I think this is the first time I post a picture of myself? So this is kind of a face reveal.

For all new people on my blog:

The feeling when you solve four exercises in a row without a mistake >>

Yesterday was my first exam of the semester, thermodynamics. I knew it would be difficult but this exam was so hard, the only thing that can save me now is praying.

After the exam I got myself a noodle box from the Asian restaurant in our town to cheer myself up. I was surprised how good it was and I really needed something positive on this day.

The last few days we had some wonderful sunsets. I could not stop taking pictures because the sky was just so magnificent💓

On a more positive side I got my grade on the last submission in coding and got 149/150 points! I am so happy because this was a hard one and I nearly did not finish it because I could not find the error.

On Friday my parents and I spontaneously went out to eat and it was absolutely delicious. On the third picture you can see our dessert. The little rings are backed apples that we call "Apfelküchle"

So the next exam is Apllied physics on Saturday. After that I will drive to Spielberg to watch the Austrian F1 GP. And on Monday I already have the next exam in fluid mechanics. A really stressful week but we got this✌🏾🦋

I don't know how but my code for encryption of messages finally works.

But I think the first thing I learned about coding was:

"If your code is working, even if you don't know why, just let it be"

So, yeah, next thing to do is to write the code to decrypt the messages. Let's go :)

Finally, I found time to make a post.

My internship started one month ago and it is soo exciting. Unfortunately I can't post to many pictures of what I am doing.

I already learnt so much and finished my first little projects. Even though many of them were nerve-wracking, I luckily could finish all by myself (yet xd).

Like I said a few posts ago, I had to move to another "Bundesland" (state) for this internship. So I moved out from my parents and now live with two other students in a flat. I am surprised how fast I adapted to my new lifestyle although I miss my sports team and my dogs.

Two weeks ago the city hosted a "long night of open museums" and I went to visit some of them. At first I hesitated because I didn't want to go alone but in the end it was wonderful to stroll around at your own pace and without having to wait for others.

I think that was it for my update. Will try to keep you updated🤸🏽‍♀️💓

Uni was pretty stressful the last few weeks so I decided that I need a "recharge/home study"-day.

So I slept in (until 10 am ^^') and when I woke up I felt well rested but also had a bad conscious for "losing study time". It's hard to convince myself that I deserve to rest from time to time.

For breakfast/lunch I tried this couscous salad that I saw on IG and I am impressed how good it is. It has no 'heavy' flavours but the different vegetables compliment each other.

After feeling bad for sleeping so long I feel better now because my body got a healthy meal. Am I the only one that has this train of thought that if you eat healthier foods like salad or soup you thank your body for carrying you through the day? Like I will eat a rice bowl and think: "Thank you for enabling me to live this stressful student life. This meal is for you"

For the afternoon I planned to review some lecture notes but aside from that I will use this day to recharge and take care of myself.

Only four weeks in and university is killing me already.

Normally I write some longer paragraphs but not today. I have nothing more to add. Just that my dog is a cutie and I am so glad that I've got someone to cuddle after a long day.

Also noodle soup is a soul food🌸🥣
