Hey everyone! These are the final details for our 413 meetup! We understand if you feel a little bit self conscious going out in Cosplay, so if you'd like us to come meet you beforehand and walk over to the library, then that's okay (we're self conscious too, don't worry.) The two organisers will be me (Ren as casual!Rose) and Bee (casual!John). Feel free to bring props, games etc, and we will be having a photoshoot! We are very excited and can't wait to meet you all

Yo homestuck meetup 12th April in Birmigham (England)

Okay so me and my Moirail have already decided that we want to celebrate 413 (doing it the day before Cus school) by going into Birmigham (UK) in casual!rosejohn Cosplay and we thought why not turn it into a meetup! So far we don’t have a time or place but we will figure that out soon. March MCM Meetup - Sat 21

Hello! We'll be running an official meet on Saturday 21st of March at the MCM Birmingham, starting at 1.30pm with a photoshoot at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to hang out at the meeting area after.

Due to the halls often changing, we will be in an empty space by the cafeteria before relocating for photos due to the shoddy lighting within the actual halls. I'll be attending as Grimbark Jade and don't be shy to come say hello even if you're not going to the shoot!

Rules under the cut

1. No litter 2. If you're bringing bike/Gamzee horns please refrain from squeaking them as they are very loud and can be startling. 3. Seal your paint 4. Be respectful of other con goers and always ask for permission before hugging/touching them as some people don't like to be touched by strangers. 5. If someone is making you uncomfortable please let me know or one of my helpers and I'll get everything sorted as soon as possible

Alternative Activity!

After some deliberation I've come up with an alternative activity to Lazer Quest! It would be ultimately cheaper since we wouldn't need to catch buses for it, so it'd be easier for those with less money to spend on tomorrow! It'll also allow us all more time to properly hang out.

The idea would be:

The Thinktank and/or Planetarium!

We'd be able to get group tickets which would be £4.25 for child in the Thinktank only £5.96 for adult in the Thinktank only £1.70 or £2.75 for the Planetarium. (Showing Wonders of the Universe tomorrow every hour till 4 ==> }

Summary of 4/13 Birminghamstuck Meet!

The actual meet will be on Saturday the 12th of April! {Simply because places will be open at that time.} We'll all be meeting at 1pm by the Starbucks inside New Street Station, though of course we'll be lingering there should anyone be turning up late.

We'll then be heading off to Star City to play lazer quest! Prices for lazer quest are as follows:

£5.99 for one game £4.99 for the next!

We'll probably be aiming for 2 games! After we'll either go back to Birmingham to amble if it's early or we'll be going to the Big Wok {an all-you-can-eat chinese restaurant which costs £6 - though I'll need to know the numbers since I'll most likely need to book this if there's a lot of people!}

Cosplay is allowed and is encouraged but be mindful that we'll be moving round Birmingham a lot and you'll want to be comfortable for lazer quest! Let this blog know or send a message to the mod here if youre planning to attend.

4/13 birminghamstuck meetup!

Since this is probably going to be the last year of homestuck and the last 4/13, we're planning a meetup to celebrate! It'd be in Birmingham on the weekend before since the 14th is on the monday, so we'll be aiming for the 12th of April which is the Saturday.

The basic plan at the moment is to meetup in Birmingham at around 1pm to hang out for a while, and then getting food maybe from the Big Wok since it's £6 per person. And then we can go do activities like Lazer Quest at Star City though this'll be based on what people can afford and what people want to do!

You're welcome to attend in cosplay but since we'd be doing activities and such, it'd be recommended to keep it pretty simple and such.
