Talk about 10, 27, and 38!
ahahahaha I just realized how much I ramble when telling stories so I super apologize in advance for how much I will be writing.
10: Talk about the biggest fight you’ve ever had. hmmm…well i’m sure I had many a huge, dramatic fight with my parents when I was a teenager because I was just awful. But the biggest fight I can remember having was with an ex I have remained friends with a couple months after we broke up.
I have to preface this with we broke up because he obviously just felt nothing romantic or sexual toward me anymore so there was no point in continuing to be in a relationship and instead continued on as friends. Well a couple months after the break up, in our weekly D&D group meetup, we all decided to get drunk and I started to flirt with our DM because, hey, he’s cute and we’re single, and I’m a flirty drunk. So the night continued and I thought we were all having fun and my ex was just being quiet because he’d had his wisdom teeth removed that same day and warned us he wouldn’t be talking much.
Well I dropped off one guy in the group and start to drive the short distance to his and he promptly gets out of the car telling me he doesn’t want to be near me. I get SUPER confused, insist he talk to me, and he blows up about the fact that I flirted with someone right in front of him. Needless to say a huge screaming match ensued out on the street with him calling me an insensitive, whoreish bitch and me saying all manner of cruel things back and it ended with me storming off and us not talking for three days. Eventually he asked if we could be back on speaking terms and me only responding with snarky gifs for the first hour. Neither of us said we’re sorry (we rarely do), but he promised to jab himself in his sore empty tooth holes so he’d be in more pain to make me happier. So it worked out.
27: Talk about your favorite part of someone else’s body. I’m a big fan of hips on both men and women. Not necessarily any particular shape, I just greatly appreciate the subtlety of hip bones. Whoever is reading this right now, if you’re feeling down, just know that I appreciate your hips. They are lovely and underappreciated and they work hard at keeping you upright (that’s not my weird fetish about them; i just want to give them recognition for their job).
38: Talk about songs that remind you of certain people. Oof, this one can be tough. I’ve got 3 that I think of right now. But I’ll only talk about 2. The first being about a fictional character - Constantine. Whenever I hear the song Blood on my Name by The Brothers Bright. The lyrics just remind me of the damned, desperate, and determined thoughts of someone ready to fight hell. It reminds me of him so much I’m considering learning how to make photo/gif edits just so I can pair him up with it.
The other one isn’t about a specific person, nor will it make much sense to anyone who’s not me, but it’s I Have Friends in Holy Spaces by Panic at the Disco. Specifically, the chorus “You remind me of a few of my famous friends / Well that all depends what you qualify as friends.” always reminds me of the people I’ve tried so hard to be friends with, but because of my own tendencies to be bad at starting conversations and/or natural detached-ness from people as a hermit, I never really got to become close to. I still want to call those people my friend, but I don’t really know if they qualify as that and that always makes me sad. So the chorus of that song reminds me of those people.
