The layout of the Enochian great table has always been up for debate. What I mean is even the Enochian entities gave Dee and Kelly several different versions of the great table. There are 2 main versions though, the original and the reformed. The Golden Dawn uses the reformed version, but they changed the colours to match their path. The original colours and the original layout of the original great table are shown here in this fun intro video I made one day.

Which version of the Great table do you use? Which colours? If you work the GD system, and/or are initiated into the GD, perhpas their colour layout if the best choice. Personally I prefer the original colours since they are the same colours and layout as was used in several of the older alchemical manuscripts. The best method I feel when deciding which layout to use is to ask the Enochian entities themselves! Also, you can experiment and try the working with each layout and see which feels more correct and stronger to you. I’m curious what others have found with this.

I wrote a book :D.

Here’s the handbound version of it.  I also released it years after in paperback so more people could read it.

It outlines the original system of Enochian magic.

Dee nor Kelly, nor the Enochian entities outlined how the calls were used, or what parts of the system they are used with.  They most definitely did NOT attribute each one to a particular element or sub element, and most especially not to specific parts of the great table.  Some feel that they perhaps were meant to be used with the Heptarchical parts of the Enochian system.

I personally feel that they are meant to be used in every working, used in sequential order during the 19 day working, then used in other workings as they fit according to their content.

Also, as I have mentioned many times before, how they are pronounced is NOT the way that Crowley pronounced them, nor the way the Golden Dawn says to pronounce them.  The Enochian Angels were very clear about how each Enochian letter is pronounced (you can find that in my post a couple of months back about pronunciation).

Btw, this was about 12 years ago I took the photo; I’ve gotten much better at bookbinding since then :D.
