Enodie for EnidxElodie
Hello Elonid tag
76 Enid x Elodie :v
76. “I need you to pretend we’re dating…” OHOHO
Enid sat behind the counter begrudgingly as Elodie strode in, an enormous crowd trailing behind her. The fans slowed down then paused as Elodie walked up to Enid. She leaned over and got as close to Enid’s face, resting her hands on her shoulders. Enid cringed and almost batted her hands away before Elodie said, “I need you to pretend we’re dating.”
She tried to ask a question, but before she could even get a word out, Elodie pressed her face against hers, initiating a long but soft kiss. Enid stiffened up heavily as the crowd behind her erupted into loud cheers. Elodie pulled away and turned around to the crowd, smiling.
Enid was frozen as Elodie tried to drag her from behind the counter. She ran out with her “girlfriend” and the hoard of people separated to make way for them out the door, soon after chasing them.
KO and Radicles just watched in sheer confusion and slight horror.
Enid quickly shook her head and stumbled back up onto her feet. Quickly gaining her pace with Elodie she whispered in her ear, “Elodie, what the hell is going on?!”
Elodie quickly looked behind her at the relentless crowd chasing them, then in front of her.
“I’ll explain in the limo tank.” She let go of her hand, speeding up in her white high heels at the sparkly tank grew closer. She jumped up, spinning around in the air before delicately slipping into the open hatch, her dress getting caught then sliding in momentarily.
Enid squatted and jumped up mid run, doing only one front flip, with her feet going in the hatch first. She landed on a soft pink chair, Elodie sitting next to her. The blinds to the windows were closed around them.
“Are you going to explain to me what the heck is going on?” Enid asked impatiently.
“Yes, right.”
She pulled out a phone, and went to her Social Media and found a certain account. “These two girls are making quite a show of their relationship, rubbing it in my face so often. They’re mocking me with their boasts of love and it’s irritating!” She leaned into Enid, showing the multitude of pictures displaying the couple’s public displays of affection. “I need your help so that we can show them up and that I won’t become the laughing stock of singleness.”
“Why me of all people? There tons of other girls that you could’ve roped into this! Heck, even a bunch of guys!”
“Oh Enid you know I was never one for men. Besides,” She put away the phone and looked at Enid. “This would never work if it weren’t you.”
Enid stared back at Elodie, dumbfounded. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Elodie glanced around before looking at Enid. “Most people are.. familiar with our past relationship.”
“You mean... from middle school?”
“Yes, that one. If we ‘got together’, it’d really show up those attention seeking girls.”
That’s ironic... Enid thought.
“Sorry to break this to you, but I’m already dating someone. I don’t really feel comfortable taking part in some scheme to boost your reputation.” She said, beginning to climb out of the tank.
Elodie tugged on her shirt.
“It’s just for one day. Then we can pretend that we’ll stick to a long distance relationship.”
“And have people bothering me about this when I get back? Hell no!”
Elodie grabbed on harder, and started pulling her down. “Please.”
Enid paused and looked into her eyes. She looked and sounded genuine. Enid sighed and plopped back down onto the chair.
“One. Day.”
Elodie almost looked like she was going to smile, but she turned forward, and put on that pompous, snotty face.
“Geoffrey.” She said, snapping her fingers.
The tank sped off and the blinds opened, thus beginning their day of their fake date. It wasn’t half bad. Elodie treated Enid to luxurious snacks in Neo Riot City, and even bought a few outfits for her. Elodie tried to sneak in some mouth-to-mouth kisses, but Enid would always turn away and reduce it to just a cheek kiss. Elodie made sure to take lots of pictures of the two and post them to her Social Media.
Leaving a large mall, the two both had bubble teas in their hands. Enid did her best to fake happiness, though it was obvious she wasn’t entirely enjoying her time due to her stiffness, and plain discomfort in some of the photos taken.
Two women approached them, one holding onto the other’s arm with both hands. The taller one had long sleek black hair, it almost looked sharp. She glared at the two.
Enid stared back, mainly confused.
“So Elodie, you actually managed to find yourself a girlfriend? I’m surprised that anyone would like a princess with a stick shoved up her butt.”
“And I’m surprised anyone would like a cardboard cutout, Selenia.” Elodie said, raising her chin.
The girl next to Selenia scoffed. “You have no right to say that!” She pointed at Elodie. Her hair was hot pink in two buns high up on her head. “I bet you don’t even like her, you witch!”
“Actually, I’m the witch.” Enid said, her free hand resting on her hips. She took a sip of her tea.
Elodie grabbed Enid’s shoulders and turned her to her.
“I’m going to kiss you and you need to kiss me back.”
Once again, Enid couldn’t protest as Elodie immediately kissed her after finishing the sentence. Enid closed her eyes, taking in hard breathes through her nose. She tried to fake relaxing and leaned into the kiss, putting her hands on Elodie’s shoulders, as she dipped her back. It lasted a good 6 seconds before they stood upright again. They looked into each other’s eyes. Elodie’s face was slightly flushed while Enid’s face was covered in the slightest bit of regret.
They held each other’s hands and walked between the opposing couple and didn’t even look at them as they went by.
The two sat in the limo tank in silence, not looking at each other. They both leaned on the opposite windows, looking outside of it as the world sped past them. Elodie rubbed a golden necklace with her thumb.
It was going on night, and the tank approached the plaza quickly.
“Enid, I-”
“Save it. Just one day, I’m going back to my life.” She unbuckled her seatbelt and unlocked the hatch, climbing and jumping out from the hood. Her feet lit up in flames and blasted a spout of flames from her boots, launching her in the opposite direction the tank was headed. She stumbled as she landed on the ground. She took out her phone, seeing that she received a few panicked messages from Red Action.
[ill explain. it was really sudden] She responded.
Elodie looked out the window but did not see Enid through the side. She turned around and sunk into her seat, curling up into herself. A few silent tears rolled down her cheeks.
