This is closer to my usual style and color palette than what I've been doing lately, and as fun as experimenting is, there is something comforting in familiarity. I used watercolor, acrylic paint and acrylic markers. And yes I went for long hair because I am in love with Barry's curls, don't judge me!

I finally finished it! I used watercolor and acrylic for this piece and, as I said before, it fought me a lot and is still very flawed but I decided that it doesn't need to be perfect to be of value to me. Thank you to all the kind people who supported me while I was having a hard time with this and as always thank you beautiful writer for the inspiration.

"The figure eased away from where it had pressed down against Felix’s chest. It melted down the length of his body, and like the water pattering down from the shower head beside his temple, he could feel the creature dripping down every inch of his skin. He could feel the pressure of its touch everywhere. Felix threw his head back, mouth falling open, gasping. He wasn’t in his bed now, nor the shower. He wasn’t even at Oxford. He was at home, back in his bathroom at Saltburn, folded up into his bathtub. The water was hot, much hotter than the old boiler could actually manage. When he cracked open his eyes, he could hardly see the room around him through the warm, creamy steam. It wrapped around his face like a veil. It kissed his cheek like a lover, it’s moisture beading up and rolling down until the drops bottomed out in the joint where his jaw met his throat."
