The thing is, it's not even that hard to fix the ending even within the canon of everything else. All you need to do, *literally* all you need to do is find Jesse Turner and ask him to get Cas back. That's it.

He's definitely an adult at this point and can understand that his lack of understanding regarding his powers was killing his town and that Sam and Dean (and Cas) were not evil people out to just get rid of him because they're evil.

Dean roughly knows where he's at, and you can't convince me that he wouldn't find a way to find this kid if there was any chance at all that this might work.

Ok, and yeah, sure he's the "Antichrist" or whatever. But he's a good kid, he's not inherently evil and even if he was we all know that the Winchesters are not above working with the king of hell, Satan, God, or whomever else to get back the important people in their lives.

It's basically like what Sam did with Gabriel. It works in canon. It's so simple. So elegant. And just crazy enough that it might work.

Alright, so in my my Spn B99 idea (which is here if you want to read it), the ducklings also exist, and Dean is their weird parent one way or another. My idea is that for whateverreason they interrogate them and the ways Dean is related to them keeps getting weirder as they go.
